Spurs can't get Gasol without including Murray imo.
Rest in peace Mamba. There'll never be another Kobe.

I think a straight deal might work

Parker, Murray, Anderson, 2 future picks for Gasol

SA finds a back up PG they could really challenge

Going from LMA to Marc adds little without a PG coming. It's the same team with a high floor, similar ceiling.

I think Grizzlies would be wise to shop both Gasol and Conley for younger pieces (team has basically peaked yet isn't a lock to even make playoffs). If this is the offer for Gasol however they would be better off just keeping him. Getting back 6 players the value they get back (which isn't great to begin with) is too diluted to make sense.

There is another thread on this forum devoted strictly to Gasol trade ideas. I think Cavs, Bucks and Thunder would be good potential destinations. Spurs wouldn't be bad and the Gasol brother reunion would make a nice feel-good story but I don't think Spurs have enough. An Aldridge-Gasol centered swap is too lateral for Grizzlies unless Spurs add a guy like Murray who I don't think they should add (maybe a 1st instead?) and I think if you tried to bring in a 3rd team to take Aldridge the Grizzlies would be better off dealing Gasol directly to that 3rd team.
