Cavs/Hornets

Cavs out: IT, Frye, & Brooklyn pick
Cavs in: Kemba

Charlotte out: Kemba
Charlotte in: IT, Frye, & Brooklyn pick.

Why for the Cavs. Cavs get Kemba

Why for the Hornets. They're 5-9, if the trade Kemba they'll get a top 5 pick plus the Brooklyn pick. Also, if IT comes back and plays well they can sign him to a three year deal that lets him play out with Batum's contract. If they'd rather go in a different direction, then both contracts are expiring.

That’s a hell of an overpay for kemba. IT alone is better than him.

He's better offensively. Kemba's the better two-way player.

So you’ve flipped Kyrie for Kemba and Crowder?

Seems kinda light

Bumping for reaction from Hornets fans.

Cavs arent moving nets pick unless its for a top 10 star like Boogie, and even then I doubt it.

I would move IT to a 3rd team like Magic, Jazz, Pistons that can use a scoring pg, they send younger assets and or picks to hornets. We also send some assets like cedi, zizic, crowder, our own pick

Cavs send a 1st to orlando. Who says no? Maybe Orlando, but this move gets them into the playoffs easily. IT, Simmons, Fournier, Gordon, And Vucevic is pretty good

A Kemba, LBJ, & Love core gives you a puncher's chance at beating GS and probably ensures LBJ opts in to the last year of his deal. Then two years from now, LBJ, Kemba, JR, & Shump all come off the books. Love has a P.O. that year as well. You could completely re-make the team.

Also, Boogie is not a top-10 player.

IT doesn't have anywhere near this trade value.

I would do it if you replaced the Hornets' pick with the Cavs' pick and Osman and Zizic. Not giving up that Brooklyn pick, no way. Especially since Kemba isn't that much better than IT at all.

If he comes back healthy he should have some decent value, he put up nearly 30 efficiently last year

Kyrie>Kemba and we couldnt win last year. And Boogie has been a top 10 players rn. Not fully in order but here is my 10, also basing off of last year: Lebron, Kd, Harden, Kawhi(will be when back), curry, Giannis, AD, Cousins, Westbrook, Kyrie

This trade deserves nothing more than a million laughing emojis. IT has zero value right now as someone on a contract year and recovering from a rather significant injury, and we're a long way from even thinking about blowing it up. And no we wouldn't trade Kemba straight up for a draft pick.

I want this trade to happen so Kemba could get some deserved hype.

Cavs would love Kemba, scoring workhorse who is super clutch.

I can understand why the Cavs wouldn't be willing to give up that package though with the uncertainty of the teams/Lebrons future.

If you don't want to trade Kemba, that's fine but he's a year away from being on the last year of his contract & those guys don't return full value. Especially if they're going to command a much bigger salary. I don't know why you think the offer is laughable.

just showing how loved Kemba is in Charlotte, I would be tempted if this team wasn't built for win now.

I know it seems ridiculous but it is. I'd give Cliff a bit longer to get Dwight working with the team somehow before blowing it up.

Yeah my thought was that the Hornets pull the plug this season, get two top 5 picks in the upcoming draft, re-sign IT for the length of Batum's contract, and see what that team can do.

I think Brooklyn's 3pt shooting will get them too many wins, and I'm not an IT fan.

I'd do this deal if i'm Cleveland. Would certainly start with an offer of Cleveland's pick though.

I want to see Kemba retire as a Hornet, and join the coaching staff.

Kemba + Dwight and the Cavs have to seriously consider this offer

Dwight is a headcase but is putting up good numbers

Plus LeBron is no Kobe, I think he would get much more out of Dwight than anyone has

Bron - Love - Dwight is lookin nice
