Just to be clear, anyone rubbing someone else's face in something instead of eating their own crow gets a full warning.

I didn't think the Cavs would make major moves without cutting long-term salary. They generally surprised me today.

I was convinced that OKC would make a move. Like was checking 20 minutes after to see if it came in late.

I still think Kyrie vets overrated but almost every Boston and Cleveland take I had was wrong.

Hoo boy. Let's see:

- I never disliked Clarkson as much as many other people did, but I would not have thought him+Nance = expirings + lightly protected 1st, either.

- no way would I have predicted the Grizzlies keeping Tyreke.

- in fact I thought teams like the Hawks and Suns (and at some point, the Jazz) would be selling off veterans left, right and centre. Didn't happen.

- going back to the beginning of the season, I was completely wrong about the impact that Oladipo and Sabonis would have on Indiana.

- I shot down every Kyrie-to-Boston proposal saying it would never happen. Welp.

So, so much crow...I'll be sure to add.

I said NY would keep Willy Hernangomez until they find out what Kanter & KOQ were staying or going next year.

I thought Kevin Love would be a perfect and seamless fit in Cleveland next to Lebron. Nope.

I said Papa and Malichi weren't in the Kings future plans.

My crow serving comes from the kings taking a 2020 second round pick instead of a 2018 pick for George Hill. Tastes like ****.

I'll eat a lot of crow on Mudiay. I believed in him.

His career obviously isn't over, but I was wrong on draft night and he's consistently proven me wrong since.

I don't know if I need crow for Clarkson.. I had him as just under neutral and I think Frye+IT is just under neutral the way IT has played, I'd have thought LA needs to add a 2nd in a straight swap.. But I think Nance is positive and more than cancels that swap, worth a really late first IMO (we all agreed GS should trade their first for him a couple days ago, right?.. So I think Cleveland should have only had to add a 2nd or two? But they don't have a good 2nd and they really need what Nance brings, and with the other moves they made Clarkson fits nicely..

So not a big enough plate of crow for me with Nance included.

I'll eat crow on others when I think of it.

I thought Ben McLemore would be as good as Portland Wes Matthews.

Didn't think Kings would just give Hill away for another teams trash.

Said IT3 wouldn't be the same player without surgery ,but I didn't think Cavs org would find a trade for him with anyone paying attention realizing that and still trading for him before the dl.

I've always said NOT to deal Nance Jr and Clarkson, much less both, UNLESS there was guarantee of 2 max guys coming over. Guess I was both right and wrong. Glad to be wrong on this one, coz the path just became alot easier.

Thought Payton was worth a late first and the magic would not trade him.

Crow on Payton. I thought he'd get a pick around the 20's if not into the teens.

I thought we would stay pat and do our deals at the end of the season

Never thought of Cleveland going for George Hill

Thought DeAndre Jordan deal was basically all but done.

Thought Evans would have been in Boston or San Antonio by now.

More of a general crow thing here: I figured that the Knicks, Griz, and some other teams would have walked away with FRP for a package of players. I expected the Wizards to unload Smith with a pick for an upgrade. I definitely did not see the IT thing going that bad that fast. I did foresee the Porzingis knee injury because anything good on the Knicks must inevitably break when you want it the least.

I thought Marc at age 33 would have been shipped out the Grizzles would rebuild after ZBo left

I thought Blake would be the franchise face of the Clippers.

I thought Wade and LeBron would stay together. BFFs.

I kept saying that Jae Crowder’s value had dropped precipitously. That he might never be Celtics Crowder again. Now I have to hope like crazy that he will be.
