This feels like an overpay in theory, but if the Hornets are convinced Porter is special, then obviously you overpay and go get him. If the Magic feel the same well just stay and take him, but if not, the value here is tremendous.

its not ignoring it. Its a team that needs top level talent, watering down their pick for an extra watered down one. Thats good if you have some core talent, but Orlando had the 5th worse record in the league. We need talent, not in a position to move back in the draft for a worse pick, even if it gives you a 12-16 or so pick next year.
