i think anyone in the top 4 or 5 want donic over any of lal prospects and if they werent they'd want 2 of the top 3, with ingram or kuzma as at least 1 of the 2

3 for Ingram, Kuzma

It's missing ingram.

I thought that too but I would not give that many first round picks if he is in the trade

Link to that trade proposal?

That proposal lacks credibility because the person who dreamed it up didn't even realize (or care) that it is illegal and would be rejected by the league office.

Grizzlies Get

Josh Hart
Ivica Zubac
Luol Deng
Cavaliers 2018 First Round Pick
Lakers 2019 First-Round Pick (Unprotected), Lakers 2020 First-Round Pick (Top 3 Protected)
2021 Pick Swap

The not valid part of the trade proposal is underlined.

The Lakers have drafted #2 in the last three drafts. Would you be happy if they would have traded away one of the #2 picks for a package similar to the proposal listed above? If not, then why would the fanbase of Memphis or a similar team be happy with that type of offer?

LOL lakers would never trade Ingram for anyone in this draft.

Ball+#25 for #5 if he is there. I think Ball and DSJ would be a good backourt.

If a third team makes a better offer for #5, will the Lakers improve their offer or is Ball and #25 the limit?

With this kind of approach I don’t think Lakers would have even meaningful discussion not talking about a deal.

I dont think a trade like I proposed would be viewed as good in LA, Ball is a local kid who already contributed to some wins as a first year PG, already is a good defender and good playmaker. I think Doncic ceiling is higher, but if the plan is bring major FAs, Ball`s game is better suited to compliment then, so if this proposal (Ball+#25) is on table, I dont think Lakers should/would add more.

Josh Hart might be the most intriguing baby Laker. From Feb when he finally started getting starter minutes to the end of the season, he averaged 15 points 8 rebounds (in about 33 minutes). It's the right value to move up to 5 but I don't love weirdo Doncic more than the weirdo PG we already have. Hart has the makings of Jrue Holiday. For the classic folks he reminds me a little of Mitch Richmond. A good two player that can guard 1-3. A championship piece. Wouldn't trade him for an unknown commodity.

Lol this is not going to end well if you think Hart can get the Lakers the #5...
