I expect the money to be the same as LaVine.

Man.. Chicago traded #15 & #19 in that draft to move up to #11 and take McDermott before moving him. 4 years later they end up with #2 and #13 picks from the same draft in restricted free agency. The NBA is a funny business.

Nice signing if MIL doesn't match.

Umm ok. I meant it as both players coming off ACL Injuries, Chicago taking risks with both players. I assumed people knew what I meant

Im not sure of the fit with Dunn/LaVine/Markannen/Carter long term. Parker I think is better served as a 4 as the Bulls need a 3-D guy more than they need Parker but if Bulls have money and Parker is next best prize, sure why not.

Fair enough, but understand that there's a way to do it productively and a way to do it that can cause issues. 2nd post is definitely more of the former.

It's a very real concern, but ACL injuries aren't bad these days. All depends on how they've been rehabbed, and the rehab is stronger than ever. ACL injuries only tend to ruin the season they occur in, and dont usually have lingering side effects unless they were rushed back. In fact, on occasion, clients of ours have become stronger in the knees with the surgeries.

Semi. I think the main source is a guy at Barstool based out of Chicago. Thus the 'rumor' part still in the title. Its gaining a lot of traction, especially after actually reputable tweeter Kevin O'Conner suggested this could happen recently.

I think Chicago is really rolling the dice here. Especially with Parker.
"Thibs called back and wanted more picks," said Jorge Sedano. "And Pat Riley, literally, I was told, called him a mother-bleeper and hung up the phone."

even w/o the ACL issues, both Lavine/Parker aren't 2 way players, so better hope Carter/Lauri can defend very very well.

I don't love the fit in Chicago, but i love the player, think a lot of teams are going to regret not pursuing him while his value was at a low

I think so as well, but more because of fit, not injuries. I mean at its peak, what is a lineup of Dunn-LaVine-Jabari-Lauri-Carter going to do?

My guess is that they are trying to get Jabari on a nice deal but just pricey enough to get MIL out of the way, then hope he rehabs his value for a trade. I cant imagine this was done with winning in mind. But then again I never thought they'd match LaVine, so I clearly dont have a good read on what the Bulls FO is doing

Absolutely. It'll be ugly as all hell though :D

Realistically, probably not.

The Bulls are going to be the worst defensive team ever.
