Lakers could be possible for a KCP and Rondo trade in a month. Maybe they should be considered in the poll?

Rondo and KCP are a great fit for the Wolves plus a pick or young player can be added.

That's very different than a Waiters deal imo. A lot closer to what would be acceptable.

Did they turn down THAT deal? That's awful! That's two good players and a first round pick, and they passed? Good on Riley for hanging up on Thibbs...

Yeah if that was the offer, and now we have at least someone saying it, I wouldn't do more if I'm Miami.

Well we don't know if that's the deal that got hung up on, that was widely reported as Waiters. Although it does seem like they haven't talked since so I don't know.

Also, to protect that pick it would've had to convert to 2nds so that could vary widely in value.

I trust stein (who had it waiters) more than woelfel, but definitely interesting. Will be curious to see if others corroborate this, and it makes sense that they could have started with waiters and then upped the offer.

This feels a lot more like a real offer that would have to be beat, versus the other offer that I would not have valued much at all.

Let's say that was the deal, and that it's still being discussed, do the Wolves keep Kelly or move him to a 3rd team? I think I'd do the latter. He has some good value right now and I'm not sure he's a fit with Towns.

A big should be moved. I'm thinking KO since Dieng is probably to difficult/costly at this point and KO should have some positive value. But that would be the best semi-official offer we've seen so wolves would likely need to take it if real.

I would think Olynyk would be relatively easy to move, even if for an expiring deal and a couple of second round picks. It seems like he's on a small enough deal with good enough production in this day and age that it should be an easy sell. Dieng would be their preference, but I can't see anyone taking him without the inclusion of an asset.

To start the season, I'm really happy we didn't make that trade. Richardson is starting to really come into his own, offensively. I want him to be more efficient, but his aggressive play has been a pleasant surprise.

Olynyk obviously won us a game yesterday, but that's neither here nor there. He's just really good filter on a deal like this. Richardson is the prize and he's showing why.

Have to imagine several of those are pick swaps, which are pretty illusory in this case.

Yeah realized it after thinking but they have to be, you can't trade 2 in a row or more than 5 years out.
