Remains a high pedigree prospect, Jokic has amazing stats but is weak defending center making him less appealing to teams

Vote: This is still Lebron. We really need to not over-think this.
Nominate: Durant -- even as a FA to be this guy is simply way better than most of the nominees and 1 season of a player of this caliber is worth way more than these lessor players are worth for 5 or even 10 years.

Vote: LeBron. Best player (maybe ever), biggest draw, under contract for 4 years. I think I've voted him #1 every year we've done this (*except* the year where it was clear he was opting out and going to Cleveland no matter what). I don't see a strong case for anyone else.

Nominate: Hm. I'll go with Simmons off the top of my head, but will continue to think on it. EDIT -- I didn't see that Durant wasn't already on there. Going with him.

I can't see the case for Lebron over Giannis, getting the 23 year old who's the closest thing to young Lebron is too much a difference, it's not even sure Lebron is better these days. If Lakers got offered it they would have to seriously consider it, or would get clowned if they said no. At least with AD his contract is half as long

Giannis has the greatest combination of size, skill talent in the league still yet to turn 24. THen you add in he's signed for 2 more years at sub max money? No brainer.

Nominate: Damian Lillard

Vote: Gianni's....still improving while having a great all around game, great value on his contract. Youth gives him the edge above LeBron

Nominate: KD, despite being an expiring. He's an elite two way player that propels your squad on the court and on the books.
