AD. Are you posting a poll with this?

Vote: LeBron, same reason I voted for him at #1 ;)

Nominate: now Simmons. The extra time on his rookie deal moves him ahead of the Jokics of the world.

Vote Stephen Curry

My candidates here are Davis, Curry and Lebron. He has twice as many guaranteed years as AD and should age well. He has no more durability issues than AD does. While trade value is a combination of "what other teams would offer" and "what would make his franchise consider trading him", I think nobody except possibly Giannis compares to Curry in the latter, there is no offer GSW is listening to for him. As for the former if a team like the Celtics would load up the godfather offer for Davis they would for Curry as well

For people voting Lebron why over Curry? Curry's marketability is as powerful as Lebron's, and it's unclear Lebron is more valuable as a player anymore. Plus Curry is younger and has one more guaranteed year.

Nominate Ben Simmons

Young high upside prospect, stagnated a bit so far this year but can still turn into a long term MVP candidate. Jokic defense at center is a concern

No, I prefer voters having to think about it enough to write it out, and the nominee system requires posts

Do people think New Orleans would knock back a trade of AD for LeBron straight up?

Only Lakers say no to that trade right now.

Therefore LeBron.

GSW wouldn't trade Curry for Lebron. Therefore it's Curry?

That's not the logic here.

I think New Orleans says no. But I can see the argument they come closer to doing it than the Lakers. I think AD might be below Lebron but below Curry as well who is my vote

Vote: LeBron James. May be on the way down for his career trajectory, but there's little doubting how good of a player he still is. Toss in the marketability factor, and it's clear he should be here. Kind of regret not putting him #1.

Nominate: Damian Lillard. High loyalty and one of the leagues elite scorers.

Vote: Embiid ( 5! years for an average below $ 30 millions/year (10+ millions less per year than other superstars) for a young and improving player, who seems on his path to be a perennial MVP+DPOY candidate who is already the best player at his position)

Nominate: Simmons
