Nominate Jrue

Just adding some more thoughts on Jrue. I feel like he's a top 25 player right now. Maybe even top 20. He's locked for 3 years (plus PO) at a below max deal (almost 10M below), how is he not on this list yet?

Beal
Jrue

Going with Jrue, Kyrie is next, followed by Conley (for me). All are elite point guards. Jrue is incredible on both ends, as is Conley. Kyrie is an incredible player on offense.

I love Collins, but you would have him over Kyrie and Jrue?

Nominate Jrue Holiday

jrue should have more value than Butler due to contract status imo, and hes a year younger. 75ish mil for 3 years is great value, he'll probably decline the 4th year PO

Saying he's "almost 10M below max" is inaccurate because as far as I know he did sign very close to his max at the time. That's like saying Doncic makes 30 million less than max. Also, I don't get where the max is discussion is coming from - not every player has to get max and Jrue Holiday is most certainly not one of them. He's a nice complementary player, not a true super star that deserves max as a "go-to" guy like Curry, Harden etc.

Ok so just dismiss the max thing, let's just say his contract is of great value. PG has already been voted (!!!), is by no means a tier above Jrue right now (he might be better, but not by much) and his contract costs a lot more. Beal's contract runs for the same length, is as expensive and he's not a better player than Jrue right now.

This threads just further proves two things: that even after last year, Jrue is still one of the most underrated players in the league and that defense is severely underrated (or at least forgotten) by almost everyone.

Debated between Fox, Ayton, and Kawhi. I keep flipping back and forth between the three.

V: Jrue Holiday

Based on cost, contract, control... Yes. This is trade value, not the best player.

Fair enough. I think non-rebuilding teams would value Kyrie and Jrue over him pretty easily, though.
