Vote Dion Waiters
Really tough call here between Waiters and the 2 year contracts that owe more next year. But Waiters just can't stay healthy, and isn't good when he is. The 12.7 million 3rd year is hard to justify just to owe 4-5 mil less next year
Nominate Tyler Johnson

Since he was already voted, just figured I'd point out that if people are this low on Love after an injury and Blake Griffin is owed more money and just finally got healthy and has historically been a worse player I really don't get it. 6 months of health shouldn't totally flip my view on someone.

Love isn't going to age well with how limited his athletecism is for a power forward. He also doesn't protect the rim and statistically I don't really see him as better? Love has also been just as injury prone over the course of his career and has gotten worse with age while Griffin has gotten better (and made Detroit a much better team than they were). I don't mind thinking about Blake on this list, but I really wouldn't have him in the same tier as Love.

Griffin's not a rim protector either, and both have missed about 20 games the last 2 years. Also I stand corrected, Love is owed more than he is. When looking at it again I'd probably rather Blake too, but wouldn't feel much better about it than Love. I think they're somewhat similar in ability, it's really the last year of the deal.

I guess my other question is can a team built around either player make the playoffs? I think a team built around Blake in the East can, but I'm unsure that a team built around Love can. It's hard to compare their stats b/c Love has been a second or third option. Griffin has always been his team's number 1 scoring option, even if he hasn't had the ball in his hands. Although I'd say that Love is only a marginally better shooter and rebounder and Griffin is a better scorer, playmaker, and defender. I wouldn't mind to have Griffin on the Jazz (there are better options), but I'd be livid if we traded for Love.

See for OKC I'd almost feel the reverse, I'd prefer Love's skillset next to Adams. I think you could swap their spots and the teams look remarkably similar if Love were currently healthy.
Also I'd rate Love's playmaking and shooting over Blake, but Blake's defense better than Love. Love has been one of the best passing bigs before Jokic was around in the league.
