Vote Waiters

I'll take the pain of having a 3rd year at 12 million as worse than the expirings next season

This is between Cristiano Felício and Dion Waiters to me, given Dion's ankle situation. I'll pick Dion Waiters.

Vote: Crabbe

Sidenote: If Batum and Wiggins both stink and one makes twice as much money. Shouldn't the one making much more be consider the worse contract?

Anderson - completely unplayable, incredibly expensive.

Dion Waiters. Completely useless and the contract runs for 3 years as opposed 2.

Why Mozgov over Anderson? Anderson is owed more, some team is going to pay him $16 million next year to not play. Mozgov is injured now, but can probably give a team spot minutes. Not that it particularly matters at this point, they are both god awful.

Honestly didn't even realize the money difference but personally I just consider Mozzy totally dead money. I have the slightest glimmer Anderson could at least get a few minutes somewhere. It's only about a $4M difference. I may end up flipping by the next vote though if he's still there. Probably need to think about it more, but didn't even realize it.

I guess it depends, lol. If a team needs to sub someone in to hit a freethrow at the end of a game or hit a three to end a quarter/half at least Anderson has some utility. Mozgov you just put out there 5 minutes every game to be big and hopefully disrupt the other team before doing something stupid or getting murdered on switches (although Anderson is the worst defender in the league by a pretty large margin).

Yeah the more I think I realized what it is. I have a much more recent memory of Anderson being a useful player than Mozgov. So I think mentally I can understand him being that again (in some smaller role) a bit easier.

A little surprised Jabari Parker wasn't nominated. I vote Ryan Anderson. Huge salary and completely finished as a player.

Call me an optimist but I like to wait and see how guys respond and come back. But your position is a pretty reasonable one. I feel bad for the guy as he seemed to be really working on and developing his game after struggling early in his career.

Waiters.

Kind of odd that if MIA’s Jimmy Butler offer went through, MIN might have had three of the guys on this list.
