nothing would shock me we seen players like this go off and ends up getting big contract and teams ends up regreting it which would happen here cauce valeet is a good player but nowhere but not a max level player.

I don't think he will get the max but he is defiantly a guy I can see a young up and coming team overpay as a starting PG or 6 man. Young, lots of heart and has a Finals MVP vote.

Isiah Thomas is no longer a GM to offer insane money to someone who produces above expected in the playoffs aka Jerome James.

Jerome James' finesse for parlaying 2 weeks' worth of awesome play into a giant payday was a thing of beauty. Even if I were the GM that handed out that contract, I'd have to look back in retrospect and just marvel at how he pulled the wool over my eyes.

Back to FVV, he was good before his hot streak at the most important time of the season. I don't know that he'll ever get max money, but even at his size I could see him getting Schroeder money.
