Good post. And you're right, while it's still possible an elite talent signs with a small market (we saw this with Paul George in OKC last year), teams like MIN and SAC probably need to grow their talent at home, or trade for it.

Thibs made the trade for Jimmy, which I supported at the time, but it cost three straight years of lottery draft picks. They need to find and develop some youth, so they can either keep or trade for talent.
