It's the smart play for Detroit. His trade value is likely at its highest and it's time to turn that roster over.

Who is Feature Hoops and are they credible in any way?

But also, Blake is known to crack jokes on these types of things. Was it he on Barstool that agreed to just post the eyes emoji right before free agency started just to throw people off and troll them?

It's a weak rumor based off the liking of the tweet. The article even notes it's a weak rumor. Question is, if true, what makes sense?

Call me nuts but couldn't the Heat actually make a run at both Griffin and Paul to join Butler in an over the hill, overpaid big 3?

After last season, I think Pistons FO is convinced after 1 year that building around Griffin/Drummond is not going to get them to where they want to be.

Paul/Roberson/Patterson/1st
for
Blake/Jackson/Bowen

Gordon Hayward and Grant Williams for Blake

I wonder if Detroit would take Whiteside, Little, and multiple 1st rounders instead of Collins.

It would require putting like every decent salary into the deal to stay under the hard cap, I think. Wait a bit until Meyers can be traded.

MIA out: Dragic, JJ, Dion, Winslow, Leonard, Herro
MIA in: CP, Blake, Nader, 2021 MIA 1st

OKC out: CP, Nader, 2020 DEN 1st, 2021 MIA 1st, 2022 LAC 1st
OKC in: Dragic, JJ, Herro

DET out: Blake
DET in: Winslow, Leonard, Dion, 2020 DEN 1st, 2022 LAC 1st

CP
Butler
Derrick Jones
Blake
Bam/Kelly O

I think it's the opposite - that after last year the Pistons FO is convinced that they can get to where they want to be - or are at least ok with being. That is to say, they're fine with being a 42-win, 1st round and out playoff team. So I'd be surprised if Blake were traded.

Absolutely they should move him now.

The problem is who has the want and the need? Miami makes sense obviously.

Crazy idea would be Russell for Blake, but not sure GS really needs a player like him.

Man I think OKC is overpaying here. Id at least keep Miamis pick.

Blake/CP3 for Winslow/Herro and trash seems fair enough to me.

For Detroit Winslow, 2 picks is not a bad haul at all.

Miami makes a ton of sense. Something like Dragic, Winslow, , and Herro?

Eric Gordon to a 3rd team for a pick, 2020 HOU 1st, 2022 HOU 1st, Shump and Nene SnT for Blake? Could also add a swap.

Blazers I think would be Collins, Whiteside.

Depending on how the Pistons feel about Kennard going forward (can he play the 3, is he a core piece?) I like that for Detroit.

Blazers could make some sense when Nurkic comes back and Whiteside becomes expendable. I think it depends on the price tag.

Rockets not so much. What contracts do they have to make it work? Would have to be Capela/Gordon? And they've already shaken the tree enough this summer, I don't think adding 2 guys who don't fit with Harden makes sense.

I think you can run all 3 of those guys together. Winslow/Kennard/Herro. Winslow can guard the 3 if needed, but play the 1 on offense.

This trade makes sense to me other than the fact that Miami would be left without a PG. Id say Including Johnson instead of Dragic and throw some 2nds to sweeten the pot if needed.
