Remember guys. This is a max extension talk that Derozan is eligible for, meaning just a 120% raise over his current salary (which, yes, is still a lot). Not a 35% max salary he would otherwise be “eligible” for. Big difference. A 5 year max contract for him, only possible if he opts out and signs after the end of next season in free agency, would be 5/237. A max extension he’s eligible for is the 5/177 Woj mentions.

I'm leaning towards ridiculously crazy. Derozan is a dinosaur that excel in taking and making inefficient shots. He doesn't defend or shoot 3s and generally dont have as positive an impact on winning as his raw numbers would suggest.
