Celtics out: Hayward + Brown
Celtics in: Gary Harris + Plumlee + Belinelli
Nuggets out: Gary Harris + Plumlee
Nuggets in: Derozan
Spurs out: Derozan + Belinelli
Spurs in: Hayward + Bamba
Magic out: Bamba
Magic in: Jaylen Brown
Celtics get a replacement for Brown signed for about what they want to pay Brown and get a quality big
Nuggets get a man who can get buckets and raise their ceiling.
Spurs get a better C prospect than Poeltl and get a good fit in Hayward while opening minutes for Lonnie
Magic get a good win now piece who is also the perfect age to grow with Fultz/Isaac/AG
Who says no?

Good trade for most but I think the Celtics can get a better deal elsewhere

Value wise, I could see it for SAS. But unless my math is off, this pushes their payroll up by close to $8 million this year - which is into the lux tax, and thus they won't do it.

I feel as *current Bamba is worth current Jaylen. I don’t think Jaylen by deadline will be worth deadline Bamba.
Jaylen is EXACTLY the player our managment goes after though so I could def see this happening some way or another.

I doubt the Nuggets would trade for Derozan, he is an on ball player with limited outside shooting which does nothing to spread the floor. Also losing Harris tremendously hurts the perimeter defense so this likely makes them worse on both ends.

I agree with this.

The expected tax line is $132.6M for 19-20. Hoopshype has spurs payroll as $125.6M; add $8M and you get $133.6M > $132.6M ... I don't think they would go into the lux tax for this.

Current Bamba is not worth current Jaylen.
Now the big key will be what kind of contract Jaylen is aiming for. He isnt worth a max deal to me, but he saw Terry Rozier get a nice deal. Is he worth that? maybe. will be interesting to see his play this year. Though if it is great play, why would Boston want to move him.

not enough for the celtics, added a lonnie walker or michael porter... i would sub paul millsap and either michael porter or torrey craig... then squeeze lonnie walker from spurs

I Jaylen Brown could net Mo Bamba, the Celtics would cut out everyone else, do that deal and call it a night.
The problem is, I don't think ORL wants to move Mo. He's a luxury as long as Nic is around, but Mo is clearly their long-term future at C. Also, the Magic aren't a perfect squad, but I don't see Jaylen giving them anything they don't already get with Evan and Terrence.

Spurs and Magic say yes, Celtics and Nuggets say no.
The reasoning for the latter has been stated, but the former wouldn't obliterate their enviable wing depth just to get marginally better at center. Their best lineup (Walker-Smart-Harris-Tatum-Kanter/Plumlee) would be severely undersized and they'd still have a gaping hole at "power forward".

Neither one of those players has much value. Walker wasnt even a lottery pick, and spent his whole year going back and forth to the g league.

Nugs say no. Take plumlee out and put Barton in. And then flip Derozen for Bogdanovic and Bjelica

Nuggets say no. Derozan is a better player but the outgoing are a much better fit...I like it for the Magic but it could blow up in their face when $$$ talk starts (I'd do it anyway and take our shot). Overall, one of the better 4 team trades I've seen on here. Usually silly and one-sided. Good try!

Celtics probably gives up too much but I like the fit better. Too many "ifs" for Boston though. Is Hayward back to what he was? If so, this is a bad deal - they could get more.
Nuggets might say no. DeRozan is a great player but the Nuggets need 3pt shooters to pen the court. DeRozan is a mid-range shooter but he'd probably find a way to fit in. The question in Denver is: do they think Beasley has enough potential to fill that role?
Spurs could say yes - if they believe Hayward is back to what he once was. If he's not totally healthy, this is a very bad deal for them.
Magic get an easy yes here - a steal in my opinion.

I honestly don't see why the Magic would say yes here. Jaylen Brown doesn't seem like the type of player to move the needle for them and Bamba has more long term potential and is currently a very inexpensive backup. Jaylen Brown will also require a big contract this offseason since its likely a team like Memphis will give him a big offer.
