LAC/DET

Post#1 » by MoneyTalks41890 » Tue Oct 8, 2019 9:51 pm

DET out: Rose, Kieff

LAC out: Harkless, Kabengele, 2020 LAC 1st

Pistons get a wing, a big man prospect, and a pick.

Clippers get another big and a creator who deserves a ring.

I like it if we are rebuilding but not if we are trying to improve on last year. If we rebuild then yeah, getting a pick and a young player for Rose and Morris is great. However, Rose is easily the best player in this deal and we are hoping Morris can be a decent backup for Griffin so I don't see our front office doing this.

Rose would be nice for LAC, but I think they'd steer clear of Kieff. He was all sorts of bad last year, has a horrible attitude, and doesn't really offer anything they need. Plus this is essentially two firsts for those two guys, which seems off value wise.

Yeah I know it’s too much. I was thinking a late first round value of some kind for Rose, but I’d rather get a third team to supply the C depth LAC really needs and just didn’t spend the time to think that through

Quite an overpay here. Rather keep Harkless and let Mann slowly take over the backup PG role that give up Fondue and a pick as well for Rose.

Kieff does nothing

Don’t see the point of Morris when we have Green and Harkless is younger and brings a need. Williams is going to give you about the same thing you get from Rose at this point.
