Houston-OKC-Wizards

IF Harden and Westbrook don't workout...

Houston sends: Westbrook
Houston receives: Gallo, Schroeder

Wizards send: Wall, 2020, 2022, 2024 1sts
Wizards receive: Westbrook

OKC sends: Gallo, Schroeder
OKC receives: Wall, 3 1sts.

Why for Houston? They change up their lineup to feature Harden more with a better fitting pseudo all star in Gallo and a sixth man/backup PG in Schroeder. They also likely save a ton of money even if Gallo is resigned. (Huge plus for their cheapo owner)

Why for Washington? They get a one man wrecking ball to pair with Beal. They also have this one thing that OKC never obtained with Westbrook. Competent floor spacing.

Why for OKC? They obtain even more picks! Sure their point guard lineup makes $76 mil in bad money and their best prospect is also a PG, but if they can off load Paul to Miami or a desperate team in the off season for mere expirings or something and if Wall can rehab his value they could likely later flip him or use him themselves to pair with SEGA.
Rest in peace Mamba. There'll never be another Kobe.

Since you didn’t designate any protection, I am assuming all 3 first round picks from Washington are unprotected?

I was hoping and expecting this to be one of the first replies. You did not disappoint. Jroy have it all.

LOL

a high lotto pick plus 2 more likely mid-to-high 1sts to turn Wall into Westbrook? Whatever dude.

Wall is a year younger than Westbrook, they have the same exact contract. And given Westbrook's mileage, I'm not even sure if he'll be better than Wall for the remainder of his deal. He's certainly not 3 first round picks better.

I have Washington being at least mildly competitive and just below .500 before GOATbrook gets there and making the playoffs after he gets there for pick 1. Pick 2 is also likely a playoff pick. Maybe we could protect pick 3 with top 20's or 2 2nds.

If Paul for Westbrook costs 2 1sts, a broken potentially fried Wall for Westbrook is at least that or more.

I think Westbrook would have to flame out in a big way for Houston to consider this. Gallo would be nice, but they need someone other than Schroder for it to make sense. I doubt he sees the court for them.

Even if they did consider a Westbrook deal and this was on the table, I think they bite the bullet and take Washington's portion straight up.
