As a Suns fan I like it.

It's reasonable. I don't know if the Cavs are locked in on Miles. I know they were really interested in him the year they drafted Sexton. Of course, the last Suns player the Cavs got locked in on was Josh Jackson, so they probably should just take the picks.

Does Phoenix still have that great training staff? Love might be an excellent fit as long as they dont give up the kitchen sink in any deal. I believe the suns have some extra picks too. James Jones is also very familiar with Love.

I dont like Love's age contract and injury combination but even I wouldn't be able to pass up that deal as a suns fan. The Caves would want more tho.

If Cleveland can get that deal for Love, they should take it an run... not to say it's not reasonable, I think this is a well thought out deal.

Nice one OP.

Everyone is overhyping Love.

It would only take TJ, Saric or Kaminsky, and Protected pic.

Why do the Suns want 3 centers?

Then, let's go back to Kevin Love for Julius Randle. Build the Knicks and EC again to get more fans. Suns already have a good team and just develop who they got.

The Cavs have no reason to make that trade. Randle is every bit as bad defensively and far less versatile offensively.

Love, Ayton and Baynes are all best at center.

Love is a PF. He's played PF his entire career except for a single season. He's playing PF right now.

Can we just get Love for Ty Johnson, Frank Kaminksy, and the choice of one of the Suns 2020-2022 1st round pick (top 5 protected)? Whichever one the Cavs feel is most valuable to them.

Heavy overpay for Love.

The Suns should keep the picks and even if they do, I'm not sure that Love is the player who they would kill their cap flexibility in the next coming years for.

The Suns aren't really going to have a lot of cap flexibility regardless. If they don't trade for a PF, they'll likely re-sign Saric and/or Baynes and/or another PF. They'll have minimal space after that.

Seems fair to all. As a Cavs fan I would be happy with the return. Lets get it done so we can be all finished with the whole "Love sucks/Love is great" debate.

Just say NO to trading for declining, injury prone, bad defense guys on albatross contracts. I'd rather wait for a firesale in NY and get Portis or Taj but first I would see how our current PFs play with Ayton and healthy Baynes.

While he has played more PF than C I think he is best as a Center.

positions are mostly meaningless. Ayton or Baynes would obviously play center on offense and Love play the 4 and defense is all about matchups. Suns are already pretty poor defensively--his defensive rebounding probably helps more than his lack of mobility hurts.

I think its pretty clear he's an on-court upgrade for them. I think this is an overpay in terms of trade value, but it would make them better right now for sure. But taking on $90M after this year on Love, you shouldn't have to give up any additional value imo.
