Which team(s) do you think if they own the 2020 no.1 overall pick, they would trade it?
You may select more than one options. You can even select all of the options.
For the options, I simply listed five teams with the worst records as of now.

Warriors and Wolves. Maybe Knicks too, they need to land a star in the worst way.
I think Cavs and Hawks take the best young prospect they can get, to keep building.

The poll options come across as quite broad because a team that trades down from #1 for a lower pick is treated the same as a team that trades #1 for an established good - star player.

Warriors, Wolves, and Hawks are the most likely to trade it for a veteran. Cavs and Knicks have no young player currently worth considering building around so they keep the pick.

Hawks should trade the '20 pick for actual vet help no matter where it lands. No prospect in this draft is top pick-worthy imho.

Wiseman on paper looks like he'd be a great fit for the GSW roster:
C - Wiseman
PF - Green
SF - Wiggins
SG - Klay
PG - Curry
With that said, I still think they would be more inclined to include the #1 Overall Pick in a trade that brings back a more established player. Their 2020 FRP, Wolves' 2021 FRP and Wiggy for a player like Beal?

Depends who the vet for any team IMO. Harden/Giannis has the slightest chance of being up for trade if their teams flame out.

Yup. It totally depends on what shakes out in the market. If the best available players are Wiggins, Love, and Chris Paul I'm probably not trading that pick if I'm any team.

Giannis has zero chance. He's not going to ask out and the Bucks would risk losing him in free agency before they would straight up trade him.
Can't rule anything out ever with Houston obviously, but when you go all-in on analytics, you don't trade the player who embodies them.
Obviously it matters who is available. If no one is available you deem worth the pick you keep it, but this certainly seems to be a year where the #1 overall pick isn't extremely valuable significantly increasing the potential candidates.

Wizard fan here. If the wiz we're to get the top pick I would absolutely trade back.i wouldn't trade the pick for another player. I like Oturu a lot for the wizards and he's gonna be around 5-10 so I would trade back and pick up some extra assets and go after Oturu before I pick Wiseman. Edwards and ball are interesting to me. But, the wizards are pretty stacked at the wing right now and even though we need a future PG for when wall is off this contract. When wall comes back with ish under contract and with the ability to retain Napier. It is not an imidiate need. With the depth of wing and point guard players in this draft you could easily move back and pick up haliburton, Hampton, meldon , Hagan's or maxey.
Just my two cents.

One can make the case for all 5.
As the pick becomes farther from #1 the percentages all 5 trade pick go up.

I wouldn't bet on Giannis requesting a trade but I we have seen similar things happen like the CP3 opt in and trade to HOU. Giannis has been in the media just saying he wants to win.
I usually save my how bad the number 1 pick is opinion till I see march madness. But this so far this year college basketball wise , I haven't been impressed lol so far i'm on the Lamelo Ball train.

Yeah that's all you need to know about this draft class.

Wiseman seems like the best player in the draft, but some mocks have him falling a bit. Usually we know who is the top rated player before the draft, so we will get a better idea of who might trade down from there.
The Warriors are that rare team that may draft early but are in win-now mode. Although Wiseman could probably help them pretty quickly, they’d probably trade the pick for the right veteran.

For the #1 pick? Only GSW. MIN and ATL might trade their 1st if it isn’t #1.
Regardless of who it is, the #1 pick is instant revenues. This player will have his picture at the top of every story at the lottery, at the draft, and all the “top new rookies” article. This means excitement for the fanbase, which all these teams desperately need, save GSW.
The Warriors already have all the revenue and fan interest they need, and elite vets that aren’t getting any younger,

I don't think GS is gonna do that. They built that team from the bottom up the right way. They are good talent evaluators . They know clay and Steph and green can't hang on for ever they need new blood.

There isn't any veteran out there for trade that would be worth it IMO

Aaron Gordon and 15 for 1?

It would depend on the team who gets #1.
Right now the top 5 guys are Edwards, Wiseman, ball, toppin and McDaniel's.
So is Arron gordon and who ever you get at 15 better than one of those 5 guys? And is it worth it for the team that's doing the trade? If I'm GSW no, I pass.
If im NYC. Yeah I do it. They can clear a lot of cap in bad over paid vets. Absorb Gordon and who would they take, well they have Barret and Knox so another wing isn't needed needed. They have Robinson and you're trading for Gordon, so PG. ? Top point guard would be ball? So who would you get at 15 trading back. Hampton. Hagan's or maldon? I do that those guys arnt much far off from ball imo.
Depends on who gets 1
