Has Vucevic raised his trade value?

If so, what teams would be interested? Any wing help out there?
How high can the Magic move up in the draft using Vuc + 15?

Would you take #2 + Wiggins for Vuc + #15?

Don't see lots of trade up scenarios. He doesn't fit the timeline of most teams in the lottery. Maybe WAS at #9? Bryant/Ish Smith/Jerome Robinson/Schoefield works salary wise. They don't move down too far and get another good talent for the top of the roster behind Beal/Wall. That's more cost cutting than value for ORL though.
I think with how he's playing against a good opponent some teams might have their interest piqued a little. I just don't think many teams will prioritize a profile like him to pay a good price for.

I’m a an interesting proposal.
I’d counter with Wiggins/#2/2021 Minny 1st for Fournier/Bamba/#15
Curry/#15/FA
Thompson/Poole/Bowman
Fournier/FA/FA
Green/Chriss/Paschall/Smailagic
Bamba/Looney
Fultz/Augustine?/FA
Ross/#2/FA
Wiggins/Ennis/Frazier
Gordon/Aminu/Isaac
Vucevic/Birch/2nd

I'd say his value has raised slightly, though we really have no idea how GMs will value bubble play. But he's nonetheless played very well against a good defensive team and individual defender in Lopez. But there's still not a giant demand for that type of player and it's likely anyone could get Lamarcus Aldridge, who isn't as good but is close and fills a similar role, for close to free and he's expiring plus paid a few mil less than Vuc.
I can't see Orlando trading him for what even a "good" return would be. The value would be mostly ridding themselves of his contract in all likelihood. That's a hard sell even if most fans seem like they'd be on board and want a teardown.

I get that GS wouldn't do this but how would they feel about Gordon + 15 + not sure what for Wiggins + 2?

Maybe Miami for something like Nunn, Olynk and our 2020 FRP? He could fit perfect next to Bam. Only issue is it reduces our 2021 F/A spending ability. It does allow Orlando to turn the front court over to Gordon, Issac and Bamba while also getting Nunn to fit in their backcourt and Olynk could come off the bench to provide spacing.

I’ve made a pitch to trade him for Jrue Holiday in a few threads. Ideally the Pels could also get a 3 and d wing in that scenario. Jrue is a better player whose game is more relevant in today’s NBA but he isn’t a great fit with the young core.
The Pelicans are one of several teams with prime scorers at the 4 who best operate in the paint (LA, ATL, MIl, Philly). Ideally you’d pair a player like that with a floor spacing big so that they aren’t drawing another defender or clogging the paint for the rest of the team.
Vuc was top 7 in the 3 pointers attempted. His percentage wasn’t great but he’s credible enough that you have to respect him from there. His rebounding would help shore up the Pels defensive woes and he is a perfectly adequate post and drop defender.

Significantly I dont think Magic will trade him and Gordon for #2.
And he has way more value than #2 plus Wiggins for pick swap. That was his value before the bubble.
He is white shaq.
I would surrender any player on the Bulls for this guy. He is that good to steal a game from Bucks by himself.

Dude he is avging 30/10 against the best team in the Bucks. I actually think he is the best player in the series and this is with missing two of their best players. I dont care if he is a center. He is playoff proven and 1st all nba lvl at least what ive seen in the bubble.
This guy is as close as it gets to a franchise player if you cant land one. Just because your not 20 doesnt mean your washed up.

I think Vucevic proved he is worth more than DLo(and for 2/3 of the price) so Wiggins and 2021 wolves frp for him is out of the window. Our defense against Milwaukee was great for the first two games so i think people can see now he is average to slightly above average defender now who wont hurt you in the playoffs. He is mobile for a 7 footer, with deceptive foot speed.

He is a player that will get much more respect when he contributes on a contender. ORL execs know how good he is but I’m still for moving and re-shaping our offense even if it means we take a short-term step backwards. He’s our crutch and his abilities are keeping us afloat when we need to drown for a bit.

The problem with his value is that he is a center. Of course top 6ish at their position are not often available at other positions.

Jrue is a great player but I don’t see him as the veteran leader for Vuc-less Orlando. He’d be great with Vuc if we went that direction but I don’t see him taking the reins in NOLA. He’s been solid but somewhat invisible his whole career -Given his age and playing style, Jrue wouldn’t be my choice.

Can we not overreact after one playoff series? Just like how hes not completely worthless after playing gasol last year, hes not all of a sudden worth alot more right now either.

Honestly this trade works better as a 3 teamer. Orlando should be making the push for assets and a high draft pick. Jrue creates some of the same problems that Vuc does, he’s good enough to get some wins for his team, but not good enough For host team to be actually good if he’s the best player.
