just curious ...if the Clippers decide to trade PG what type of return can they expect?

Not enough value.
One of those pick negates Wiggins contract. The other just isn’t enough for PG. You’d need to include more assets and guys who can help the Clips win now. Not prospects.

If your judging by the value the Clippers gave up, your never going to get that. The Clippers traded for a guy coming off one of the best seasons of his career, with 2 years left on his contract, and were willing to overpay because it helped them secure Kwahi.
The base of this trade would be the Clippers flipping the picks for win now pieces. But they wont get a better win now piece than Paul George.

i think its closer than people suggested here... PG is a expiring contract and no guarantee to resign... I think the GSW deal is one of the best deals LAC can get for PG expiring

I don’t.
IMO - adding Wiggins will only secure the fact that Kawhi bails next season. Wiggins isn’t going to contribute much to a winning team and Kawhi can see greener pastures elsewhere.
Plus, I think it’s safe to assume he’d re-sign with the Warriors. It’s not like he’s being traded to a bad team in the middle of nowhere.
This is coming from a non-GSW/LAC fan.

right now you gotta look at the Clippers... is this team as constructed can win a title with Tyrone Lue? idk.... sure you can trade for Beal and other players but man the risk is so high that even if the Team gets to WCF or Finals and lose then I don't see any of them coming back... just think they aint good enough to win it all when the West is much tougher

I'd like to see him next to Kyrie and KD on the Nets
i don't know if a package of J. Allen / Levert / Dinwiddie / Prince / Picks is enough and if the Clippers want those players - maybe a 3rd team needs to be involved

How about a 4 teamer:
Clippers out - PG
Clippers in -Jrue, Allen
NOP out - Jrue and #13
NOP in - #6 and Levert
Nets out - #19, Dinwiddie, Prince, Allen, Levert
Nets in - PG
Hawks out - #6
Hawks in - #13, #19, Dinwiddie and Prince
We also kicked the tires on Dedmon and Teague - they are both back with the Hawks nowJRoy wrote:jayu70 wrote:Bankside wrote:if the report is true, that he'd lilke to be the 3rd guy on a team:

Interesting.
Didn’t ATL already kick the tires on Prince though?
