Trade 1:
Cody Zeller into Iguodala TPE for Top 55 Protected 1st
-Charlotte steals value and gets cap space for free just for participating.
=====
Trade 2 (once Zeller can be packaged with other players, but agreed to on draft night):
Rudy Gobert for Kevon Looney, Jordan Poole, Cody Zeller, 2nd Overall Draft Pick and 2021 Minnesota Timberwolves First Round Draft Pick
-Warriors get insanely good in 2020-21 if health prevails without losing any of their current talent.
-Jazz opt to build around Donovan Mitchell and extend their timeline while gaining much more flexibility financially than either paying Gobert what he's worth or losing him for nothing to free agency.
Note: This assumes there is some chemistry issues to locking up a Gobert and Mitchell core long-term.

Re: Rudy Gobert to the Warriors
The note at the end is important here. I don't think this is terrible for the Jazz if they are forced to trade. They'll have to take a bad deal no matter what. This trade, for example, gives the Jazz draft assets but they Jazz likely won't make the playoffs for a few years without Gobert. They simply aren't good enough and they aren't a young team either. At that point you probably would look to move all the old players as well, but then Donovan is very likely to seek a trade because the the team isn't good enough.
Getting younger players doesn't necessarily extend the timeline, because the timeline ends when Mitchell asks for a trade. That's already likely at some point even if the Jazz continue to keep building on top of this 50 win team. If the team can't even make the playoffs, it's a guarantee. You trade Gobert, I think you're expediting Mitchell's trade request.
Fortunately, I don't think it's a real thing. Rudy and Donovan had more beef about getting shots and playing defense than Corona. The chemistry was horrific before everything went down. But that seemed to resolve itself in the bubble.

First of all as a Jazz fan even if we were to consider this deal... there is no way GSW do this and give up both of those picks without giving up Wiggins.
If you are GS you give up both picks only if you are giving up that horrific contract of Wiggins, and because you plan to sign Gobert long term. Even the mighty GSW can't pay 5 max guys, and 10 other roster spots.
And unless we have a way to make Wiggins care about playing basketball that is not a contract I want.

That GSW cap is going to be INSANE.
I think Lacob will be ready to spend big, but this seems far too much assuming Gobert wants a 30m/yr contract.

I'm sure Mitchell would be thrilled to go from putting up big time performances in the playoffs to being on a lottery team for the next several years.
Gobert isn't going anywhere.

I think Gobert could get traded but it’s going to be a money ball trade where we get a good pick and young player(s), hello Washington or Brooklyn?
Ingles is cooked.

I don’t think Zeller can be aggregated with other players for sixty days after a trade. Or is it shorter?

Either way it’s prior to the February/March start of the season

I dont understand why are people are offering centers to the Warriors all the time. I seriously doubt they want to invest cap space or asset in that position.

Re: Rudy Gobert to the Warriors
Season looking likely to start late december, early january.
Gobert doesn't really fit the Warriors.
The Warriors like Looney and Poole, and apparently have high hopes for Wiggins, and they REALLY like having high draft picks.
The cap for next year isn't set yet, there is a real possibility that there will be a LOT of teams selling short on their players on "bad" contracts. The Warriors are waiting for that to happen to take advantage of it.
I think the Warriors will listen to all callers but I doubt they go for that deal.

I think I’m in the minority of GS fans but I would give value for Gobert. But Wiggins needs to be outgoing or else Gobert is strictly a rental.
