that does not strike me as a good move for the clips. They must like someone, I guess, but planning on a #19 rookie contributing to your contender is a real stretch.

I'm quite high on Kennard but this is another example of how 3rd year players who aren't worth the max are valued. I believe Beasley on Minnesota was worth a similar amount last year.

Shamet fit into the Musa TPE so no outgoing player for Brooklyn, it seems. I don't think Kennard would have.

He's okay on small guards, decent team D, but very very slim.

Kennard is the best player in the deal, and worth more than the 19th pick. He does have problematic knees though and shorter contract, so might be a bit of reduction in value.

I love it for the Clippers. Shamet is a better defender, and both are snipers but I believe Kennard is going to be much more consistent, and if he's healthy, he's easily the better player
