Why Bradley and not Davis? And is Detroit playing Blake and rookies next year?

“Please consider this valid”

Like this for Detroit. They are going to come away with a lot of rookies to be excited about.

I'm with Chuck. Dumping Bradley seems weird when there was a more obvious candidate.

God it's so nice to finally have a GM that's aggressive towards rebuilding. F*ckin' FINALLY.

It really annoys me that Charlotte isn't pouncing on salary dumps like this

It's what you promise your wife if she'll take out the garbage this time.

I have to imagine we are trying to unload Blake and Rose

This is good for Tony Bradley, especially since Utah just drafted Azubuike

Utah not doing great this draft. I can see the case for Ed over Tony, happier being a third stringer and whatnot, but oof.

I honestly don’t understand Utah’s logic. But I think this is awesome for my pistons. I thought about posting a 38/Davis to Detroit for practically nothing type trade, but opted not to.

Blake is going to see a lot of “load management” this season unless we can deal him.

What type of player is Bradley?

Good IQ, decent passer for a big, not athletic at all. Bench guy, but given where Detroit is, well worth a look to see what you can get out of him.

Nice trade for Detroit. Obviously Utah really was worried about the tax, but if this is the price for keeping Clarkson I don't blame them either.

I'm minorly surprised Rose wasn't moved for a second rounder today.

I still seriously doubt we can move Blake. Maybe if he gets off the a great start this year...no, still no.

We'd have to add pick(s) to unload him and clearly Weaver's about adding picks, not losing them.

I do not mind it. Bradley can be replaced for the minimum. He is a nice young player, though, so I don't mind it for Detroit. I assume we also stretch Davis (hence why not him - we are doing both). This gets us to where we can use the full MLE and resign Clarkson to say $10 million per year, and lord knows a full MLE player will be better than Bradley.
