Not in love with this, think there were better uses for that TPE. But it's a body I guess, shows they are willing to spend.

That seems like an aggressive ask to me.

Can teams not get/apply for luxury tax exceptions for players with season ending injuries?

$82M for Kelly Oubre is like whoa.

Honestly, Golden State owes it to Steph Curry and Draymond Green to try.

So...$82 million for Oubre, guess we never need to worry about how much money the Warriors are willing to put into their team. This should be great news for all the non-taxpaying teams. The Warriors, Blazers, and Bucks will all be pretty deep into it, and the Heat and Timberwolves will likely be in it, too. The Oubre move alone results in about $2.7 million to each non-taxpaying team from Golden State alone.

This won’t happen but:

Oubre into TPE.

Wiggins, MIN 1st with top 10 prot added (revert to GS pick sim protections) for Horford

That's just the tax hit not counting his salary right?

Definitely needed with Klay out. Good deal if just for taking his salary and a real or fake 2nd. Wiggins is a SF/SG so he can slide down to SG. Hopefully didn't give up a valuable pick as well. Will still need some guard depth (probably bring back Burks as a FA)

What a terrible move, oubre isnt a needle mover and its questionable he's even worth his salary let alone the ridiculous tax implications.
