I'd definitely rather it was Johnson than THJ. I think Johnson can be a fringe rotation guy and his attitude is something Dallas is lacking, but I think Tim's shooting is still more useful even with Hayward coming back.

But I do get really happy thinking of adding Millsap MLE, Hayward, and Josh Richardson to last years team..

That would be a top three off season in my opinion. Might be the best one.

looks like Kuz.
Looks like they signed Mathews, which to me, seems what I'll charitably describe as optimistic at this stage of his career.

Bar not high to be able to replace playoff DG. Think Wes will be fine.

Don’t worry, the Mavs are done this offseason.

I’m really interested in what happens with Hayward though. He’s way too great a player to be sitting at home.

As a Dallas fan, I understand your optimism.

I’m sorry.

I would be happy either way and don’t expect either..

Just feel like we can find a bench shooter easier than a banging four. And with Richardson, THJ is just a bench shooter right?

But I do get really happy thinking of adding Millsap MLE, Hayward, and Josh Richardson to last years team..

I have Richardson/THJ the starting wings right now. KP/DFS/Richardson/THJ/Luka. If they sign Millsap he replaces DFS. Powell or Maxi starts for KP until he's back.

I don't know. They have two large expiring contracts and both players can play. Could be more Dallas news on the way in my opinion.

The Hayward situation is off. It does not seem right there is no deal yet. The Hawks reportedly offered less than the Knicks and moved on pretty quickly. His agent looks to have missed his mark on how much value he has.

Dallas isn't done. But I think jay may be right that they are done doing anything significant. Unless the prices come way down on Hayward or Dipo, its probably one more vet using some of the MLE.

Harkless going to the hated Heat? Oh yeah this off-season is going quite well.

Are Pels making Ingram match an offer?

Happy to see Harkless on a one year deal. Miami has maximum cap space for 2021-2022. Okpala & Achiuwa & Silva all have a chance to work for a place in the front court. Meyers Leonard & Kelly Olynyk back up Bam at least at first. Trade deadline is going to be fun!

Atlanta is still in the hunt for Bogdan which for me is a big surprise. I could see the Knicks moving off Hayward real soon and throwing some of their cap at him. Besides the Lakers trying to finagle a SNT, they might be who Brogdan is waiting on. Which begs this question. What is Charlotte doing?

So how many more additional 1sts does OKC need in order to draft a full additional team (say for Seattle) while keeping all their own 1sts as well? It's getting close. No need for an expansion draft, OKC will just take it upon themselves to give back to Seattle all on their own.

I don't know but NY has 29, Atl has 25-26, and Charlotte has 19. No one can offer him a max but the Pelicans.

Doubt it. They’ve just been pretty busy with all the deals, it appears. Wouldn’t be surprised if Griffin made it clear that “hey, let’s meet on Sunday/Monday, after I work crazy hours and sign a max deal. No worries if negotiating.”

Think they could clear the cap for him. Seem like a way to run a player out the door making him go get his max.

The sleeper for the Knicks. I totally forgot about FVV.

I agree with that. Once this dust settles, the Hawks are ready to talk to Collins about his extension. I like they are not going to leave him in limbo and suspend talks until next year.
