Oh boy. Sorry Charlotte fans. I don’t have anything positive to say here.

I have questions.

Kupchak needs to go. What even is this?

Awful. I wonder if this is a precursor to a Westbrook trade ?

Seems like a repeat of Batum, no?

Will be interesting what Charlotte does to clear the cap they need to make this move. Boston getting something back?

New York should be sitting there willing to take Batum into cap space for a future first

Or Batum and a future 1st for Randle - creates the extra cap space for CHA and gives them a win now piece.

Ownership. Jordan is clueless about personnel moves - always has been. This is the same guy who threw a tantrum when the Bulls drafted Pippen instead of Joe Wolf, after all.

Why do we have to believe Indiana made an offer at all?

Cody Zeller could be an interesting piece to bring back to BOS. Can be starting C and also gives you a $15MM expiring to play with.

The Batum + picks for Randle still feels like it makes the most sense, as Zeller can be a useful piece for a Charlotte team that is trying to win now.

Zeller
Randle
Hayward
Rozier
Ball

Graham, Bridges, Washington and the cap mid level to round out the bench

It's kind of interesting, I guess.

Every year we think Owners will be judicious in their spending and every year we are wrong.

I think Hayward in theory is a great compliment to Lamelo. Money is a huge issue though
