Memphis is overwhelmed with shooting guards and is likely ready to move one. Any interest on the market? Grayson has certainly left behind his bad behaviour, accepted his limited role (a shooter/cutter from the bench), performed really good in the bubble - shot around 50% 3pts from the bench. The likely price is 2 2nds. Next year he will be RFA.

I actually think he would be a steal if any team can get him for a second. He can shoot, score and is decent defender. I think he has the potential to be a good starter in the nba. Not an all star but a good third option

Salary matching is where the talks probably falls apart unless somehow Dallas created a JJ TPE. Which I don’t think would have been possible since we didn’t send out any other salary. the Boban is important to us.

But Philly should offer Ferg and a couple 2nds for him. Ferg is not good but Memphis has depth so shouldn’t matter?

Yeah, there's no TPE; Dallas needed both Delon and JJ to salary match the other JJ.

Not sure Dallas would trade Brunson and his 3 cheap years for Allen’s one. And with THJ/Richardson/Green, not sure we’d target another mostly two guard.

I just wanted him as a Curry replacement. But don’t think we’d be the team.

He might fit with New Orleans. They seem to like picking up former Duke Blue Devils

Doubt the grizz let him go for 2nds.
