Out with the Old, In with the... Older? BRK - OKC

Horford for Prince/Jordan

The Nets plunge $5mil deeper into the luxury tax and take on additional '22-'23 salary for an even older vet. Where's the upside? Well, it's clear that Jarrett is ready for a more prominent role. Unlike DJ, AH can play alongside JA in bruiser lineups due to his floor-stretching 3pt shot. He also fills the defensive needs of the system, where Steve wants all players to switch screens on the perimeter.
Irving, Harris, Durant, Horford, Allen
Shamet, Levert, TLC, Green, Claxton

The Thunder gain a younger, more athletic and cheaper starting pivot who can anchor a drop coverage defense admirably. They also take on a reclamation project forward, and hope to rehabilitate his value in a larger role.
Alexander, Dort, Prince, Bazley, Jordan
Hill, Maledon, Diallo, Roby, Pokusevski
Some people really have a way with words. Other people... not... have... way.

Didn't Durant and Kyrie want Jordan to be signed onto the team?

I'm not really feeling it for OKC. Horford's a good vet.

Only if there is a 2021 pick coming from BKN. Also DJ would have to agree to it from OKC’s side. Really don’t want a malcontent - which I expect Jordan would be.
