Well, there's your roster spot cleared up in order to move Lowry.
The pieces are falling!

Take THAT, Nuggets! AG00 might make your roster look nice and glossy, but prepare for a MATT FINISH!
Thomas at least can play. Totally fine with this.

love it for Jazz. Thomas tries hard on defense, but he's just not big, strong or athletic enough. He'll buy in to the defensive schemes and with Gobert behind him, he should be playable. On offense, opposing teams have to stick with him like he's JJ Redick

The GS 2nd is actually decent... I don't really like this for a non-rotation guy.
I bought a boat.

Yeah seeing that makes me kind of dislike the trade, Utah still doesn’t want to bring in a big wing

He could actually really thrive in Utah. You cannot leave this guy open for a 2nd or he is just automatic from 3. While not a great defender naturally he gives a ton of effort on defense.

Re: Woj: Raptors/Jazz
deep bench shooter who never plays a playoff minute but probably gets a bit of RS run -- okay sure.
Roster spot? Sure.

I won't lose my mind, but I would've rather just stood pat with a roster spot/2nd than do this deal.

Re: Woj: Raptors/Jazz
I like this deal for the Jazz actually, I don't mind trading the 40th pick or whatever for one of the best spot up shooters in the league, even if he's super one dimensional right now. There is certainly a chance he either rounds out his game enough to be a rotation guy or is just dropping some crazy 45-50% 3pt number on Utah.
