I liked rooting for Justin in Sac because of his personality. He seems like a really, really good guy. His play was always just ok, but that isn’t enough in this league. I’m rooting for him, but I don’t really see it happening in the NBA right now. Maybe if he gets some experience on a contender or overseas? He needs to someone to push his intensity.

I didn't think he'd get brought back but the timing on this seems curious to me. Is this a favor for the player? Are they signing someone?

Both of those make sense. It gives Justin a chance to sign somewhere while not wasting OKC’s time. This is exactly what OKC should be doing. I wonder who the target is. If I’m looking at teams who could possibly use JJ, I think the Nets could do it. He could be an end-of-the-bench guy who can contribute to communication and chemistry.

Yeah I was thinking that or Micic (he might have restrictions?)
They can probably do something interesting by doing it now.

I was wondering if the Thunder would waive Jackson. Wouldn't be surprised if they release Darius Miller as well.
Both could be useful as end of the bench guys, especially Miller with his shooting. Jackson wouldn't be a bad replacement for the Lakers if they release Dudley.

They should take the Sam Hinkie approach. Rotate a bunch of G-League guys on 10-day deals and see if they can find any diamonds in the rough like they did with Moses Brown.

Yeah I'm thinking this is what they end up doing.

This signing clearly means they are now gunning for the play in.
Also I’m pretty sure I read in the CBA that an nba team can only have one player named Justin under contract at a time

Oh never mind, Justin Robinson is a different person from Jerome Robinson, carry on.

I’m still disappointed that the Kings waived Jeffries. I’m glad he will still get his money though.

If it makes you feel better the Wizards broadcasters called him Justin Robinson several times when Indy played them and he's been on the team the whole year.

Man, I saw this one coming as soon as I seen that we were waiving him. Goes along with the types of moves the Rockets have been making all year. I have a feeling he's going to make us regret releasing him. Don't think he's going to be an all-star or anything, but he has the skill set to be a pretty good role-player.

Houston waives PG Mason Jones and Philadelphia signs him to a two way contract.
Sacramento waives Jeffries and Houston claims him.
Coincidences?
Maybe or maybe not.
