Value check - what's the highest pick the Wolves could get?

With every passing month, it rises.

He is still inefficient and his defense is still bad. But I look for flashes in rookies, and this kid is electric, and is much better than I expected.

Since the All Star break, in 19 games he’s 5.3 RPG, 2.8 APG, 24.0 PPG, and his TS% is getting better (.546). He’s got a lot to learn, as we all expected, but he has the swagger and joy to be a star in this league.

I’d say, he doesn’t bring back a top 3 pick in this draft, but I’m not sure MIN would consider trading him for anything less, even with Malik Beasley playing so well.

Somewhere between 4 and 6, depending on how the other team grades out Jalen Green and Jonathan Kuminga.

If I’m looking at highest, I’m thinking 4 is the spot. It’s team specific as I don’t see every team valuing Edwards over the top-6 players. I could even see him dropping a little more. I can definitely see teams valuing him and his 3+ years left over all players except Cade, Mobley, and Suggs.

I wouldn't deal Mobley, Suggs nor Green for him. Would have a hard time with Kuminga and Cade as well.

On the flip side, if I were Minny, I would have no interest in anyone outside of Mobley and Green

I would agree here. He hasn’t been perfect, but yeah, he’s really starting to put stuff together and look like he’s going to be a good player in this league.

I think I'm higher on Edwards now having seen him in the Association. Not giving up Suggs for him and probably not Cade. But if I'm on the clock at 3 and those two are gone and Minny calls and offers up Edwards I don't think I can say no.

And if I'm Minny I definitely need one of those two players available if a team is calling up offering a pick for Edwards.

Maybe the sweet spot is that 3-6 range plus a future pick?

I dont see the wolves trading Edwards for anyone but Cade. I would have to think long and hard about Suggs but I wouldn't trade Edwards for Mobley/Green.

I said 7. Maybe 6. I think Cade, Green and Mobley will very likely be All Stars. I think Suggs will have more impact on winning. The debate begins with Kuminga, and big wings are pretty desirable.

So is Edwards worth Ingram?
