Weird, I have TT as a much more useful player than Dunn.

Wow Bruno had a contract with Atlanta?
Clint, Okongwu, TT is some good depth at C. TT is just at that point in his career wheres he's a 3rd stringer.

Pretty sure it's Fernando not cabocolo when you consider than Bruno Cabocolo is not on the Hawks

If the Celtics waive Bruno, bring him back to Toronto. Team is finally ready for him.

As we say in Houston, he was always 4 years away from being 4 years away, so maybe he's ready?

This is odd. Atlanta did need a backup center with OO's injury, but I don't have any idea what Boston is doing except saving a little room under the tax.
Not really a fan for either honestly.

Like it.
Celtics save about $3mill which is important this offseason and clears up minutes for Horford/RWilliams/Moses center group and Atlanta grabs a back up center while Okungwo heals up.

Ha, I just posted the opposite. I think both teams accomplished something they wanted.

Yep, for the Hawks, they needed a physical body in the paint to hold it down until OO comes back. They don't save any money but it opens another roster spot held by two guys that were getting plenty of DNPs.

Makes tons of sense for Atlanta. They need a backup center with OO’s injury.
For Boston… idk. I get it. They move from a position of depth to a position of weakness. Save some money. They should maneuver it so Dunn is taken into a TPE and they get a new Thompson sized one. Dunn’s smaller salary could also be cheaper to outright dump in a follow up move.

Don't really get why Atlanta took this route for a C. $9.7m is a bit to pay for a backup when they could have got a minimum guy to do it. At least Dunn provided some defensive depth at PG/SG.
I also don't get it for Boston.
It's not a big move for either team it just feels like they both picked up the phone and took the first deal that came.

Okay now this makes sense. Kings clear a spot for Davion and get some much-needed size, Celtics shave a little money, Hawks get the backup PG they've needed for some time.
