I think I used up all my thoughts last three threads.

Compared to the max deals other superstars are getting this is almost a bargain. The exception is Kawhi will probably be getting paid to not play next season.

It would be amazing to see the tax bills for both LA teams and the GSW. Something the other owners might
want to see addressed in the next CBA when teams can build these 3 max contract, 12 minimum deal
rosters with impunity

Would be interested to see who will have space next summer, seems like a extremely weak free agency class. Are Beal and Lavine the only big names at this point outside the restricted?

Basically, unless one actually thinks Harden/Kyrie/Westbrook would opt out and leave. Quick glance, outside the RFAs, it seems that Nurkic and Smart round out the top 4 after Beal & LaVine....

Is there a realistic way to get Simmons to Minnesota to play alongside KAT & D. Russell?
Is there a 3 team deal involving Anthony Edwards to be made?

Yeah of course but Minny should be aiming for this team:
Simmons, Beasley, Edwards, McDaniels, KAT
DLo makes sense to be the trade piece for both sides.

Could Drummond not have got a better contract and position than the one with Philly?
That's kind of odd

Probably not. The league is deep at center and most teams don’t really need him as a starter. With Philly he’ll probably get the best opportunity for spot starts when Embiid load manages. Providing potential valuable minutes on a contending team that is sort of built around a similar-ish type of player is a good way for him to boost his value again.

Not really. Going to the Lakers showcased his weaknesses more then his strengths. He absolutely would have looked better had James and Davis been healthy. But he got exposed and not playing much in the playoffs, because quite honestly he wouldn’t have been useful, just about killed any value he had left.
Pistons were mediocre at best building around him, Cavs traded almost nothing to get him and were really quick to move on from him. Centers like him don’t have the same impact they used to.
Maybe he gets a little more if he had gone to the hornets instead, but I’m honestly not sure.
Once McGee joined the suns and Howard went back to la, there wasn’t much available for Drummond. And honestly he probably joined the best team that offered a minimum deal. Just funny that Joel is so in his head that Drummond is now his backup

Interesting to see where the remaining useful vets like Wes Matthews and Paul Milsap end up. I thought Matthews would like to return to the Lakers and they were keeping a few roster spots open to see if a Schröder S&T opens something before deciding on Matthews and Dudley. I expected Milsap to be a shoe-in to Milwaukee for the tax MLE to fill in the void left by PJ Tucker.

Wolves won’t include Edwards in a Simmons move unless they are getting more than just Simmons back.

Robin Lopez got $5M in Orlando. I'm convinced he could've done better.
Signing for the minimum in Brooklyn would've been smarter imo
Maybe backing up in Chicago in case Vuc gets traded would've been better

I'm confused. How is making the minimum better than making $5M?

I feel like OKC will do something soon. They have too much cap space setting around to at least not be involved in some sort of salary shedding deal sometime soon.
