In a vacuum... What pick would Coby White be worth if hypothetically the draft order was already determined?

Tricky to do right now, but assuming he comes back looking similarly to before his surgery. If he looks like damaged goods obviously that changes the equation notably.
I'd say around #20, I was pretty high on him coming in and think he's done alright, think he still has a future as a good 6th man or a an alright starter in certain scenarios. Showed at least a little progression last season, scoring has translated at a workable rate, obviously still hoping for more growth, but he is still quite young.

His numbers are already equivalent to Lou Williams, but he comes with the upside of being half a foot taller and 20 years old. The average first round pick is never becoming a Lou Williams.

I don't see him worth a first in Summer 2022 since he will need a new contract in Summer 2023.
Since the season isn't even 25% done, the draft order can very quite a bit between now and the draft.
Tankathon Full Order New Orleans -- #31, #45, #58
San Antonio -- #32, #47
OKC -- #33
Cleveland -- #34, #38
Clippers -- #35
Orlando -- #37
Boston -- #39
Phoenix -- #40
Portland -- #41
Sacramento -- #43, #60
Minnesota -- #44, #49
Detroit -- #46
Utah -- #48
Atlanta-- #50
Golden State -- #51, #59
Charlotte -- #52
Dallas -- #53
Miami -- #54
Knicks -- #55, #56
Indiana -- #57
The demand is for SF types and that isn't White. If it absolutely has to be a 2022 draft pick, maybe something in the 40's or worse.
He doesn't really fit the needs of teams with picks in the 30's.

The delta between what a team would give vs what the Bulls would ask is probably too wide in terms of pure draft capital. The more interesting convo is what win now vet (in the Morris brothers type mold) the Bulls could get for Coby from a lotto bound/young asset stocking team.

What about Coby White/Troy Brown JR for Theis from HOU? I feel like there's not a good draft pick available

They can't trade for Theis for a calendar year because they sign and traded him

Chicago's second rounders are all traded or locked up in obligations from the Vuc picks they traded to Orlando.
I'm really trying to figure a way to get Boucher to Chicago with White going to Team X then the Bulls and Raptors split the assets and Toronto gets the filler.

I thnk White would be a good fit for Boston personally.
Not sure what Chicago would want.

Team X will need to send out a fair amount of value so Chicago and Toronto will have something meaningful to split.

That's why OP, I'm trying to read if there's enough out there for White to satisfy both Chicago and Toronto.

you would be lucky to get a top 20 pick. he was a bust on day 1 look at ayo hes already done more than kobe ever has in his career.
his career ended when AK chose lavine over lauri and white. given that every bull draft pick has been traded, he will be disposed in matter of seconds. even in a redraft why would anyone pick kobe over ayo? clearly dont know ball.
at this point trading him for future busts in wiseman, hayes, cade might be a better idea and hope their trash becomes gold.

Can someone translate this into standard English for me? I know he's trying to say something but I can't figure out what.

I think he says Kobe for Coby White, not Kobe Bryant. And Ayo is Ayo Dosunmu.

Forgot about that, funny that they had good answers in Thad and Theis on the roster last year but can't get them back haha

Bulls bench scored 13 points last game. They need Coby White and they need to see how well he can play when he isn't running the point guard spot. He won't be traded when his value is low.
