Bledsoe/BJ Boston for Buddy

Clips get shooting.

Kings get a prospect and cap next year.

Clean and easy. West has a long history of moving youth when pushing for a championship.

I'm on the record as believing the Clips still need more playmaking, not less, so even though they're improving production in a vacuum it wouldn't be my preferred tack. Their fans may disagree with me though.

I assume Bledsoe would be bought out by the Kings? They *don't* need another point guard these days...

Ya seems like a weird trade for the Clippers.

I've seen some Clippers fans who are high on Boston as well.

And then Buddy may be a higher volume shooter than Kennard, but they both serve essentially the same role. So I don't think they would be targeting Buddy. Barnes makes more sense for LAC.

Yes, Bledsoe would be shopped for worse longterm salary seeking a draft asset but once that didn’t work he could be bought out.

Boston is the type of wing prospect the Kings sorely lack.

Rather force Kennard to shoot more than give up BJ for this swap, and, as I said in the TRoss deal, rather do Bleds for EJ.
