Grant to Chi makes a lot of sense, for both teams. Imagine Det really wanted to stock up on young guys/cap space and guarantee they can add one of JSmith/Paolo/Chet to their core

Bulls might have to add the Port pick-not sure how KellyO's value is judged
Detroit has to cut a few guys-but not big deal since they are in full tank, and save $ with this deal anyway

Top 3 pick/PWill
Stewart/Graza
They clear A TON of cap space and would have a wide open cap sheet in summer of 2023

Bulls go for it-they shore up their bigs big-time and become a true contender
Ball/Caruso/Ayo
Lavine/Caruso/JGreen
DDR/JGreen/Grant
Grant/Lyles/KellyO
Vuc/KellyO/Bradley

They stay under the tax this year, but will pay it next year-for a contender. KellyO adds a very solid 3rd big, and Lyles is a nice 4th big. This team would be much more versatile than the small ball team Chic has now-especially for the playoffs.

Still all comes down to if Bulls want to give up Patrick Williams. Think they will keep him when it comes down it.

I was very high on PWill, and even with his struggles I think he has a bright future. He is supposedly a great kid and a hard worker-just lacks agression and reps. But, no one thought the Bulls would look so good, and with him out we have NO answer for KD/Giannis. This gives us a guy like Grant-who matches up somewhat with both

This deal gives Chic a ton of big depth, and since we keep JGreen, we have a key bench piece who can match up with lots of players. I would take our top 8 of Ball/Lavine/DDR/Grant/Vuc-bench of Caruso/Green/KellyO against anyone. Tons of D and enough offense
