Best single player LAL can get for THT+Nunn

no picks attached, no LeBron, Davis, Westbrook, Carmelo, Howard, Monk, Reaves, etc

just THT and Nunn. I supposed Bazemore or Ellington can be easily replaced in FA right now so include them too for salary matching if necessary.

looking at probably a $15-22M/year low starter/6th/7th man level with a contract that another team wants to get rid of.

Fournier?
Bertans?
Hield?
Bledsoe?

I'd add E. Gordon as a possibility. The Rockets have a good number of picks but are short on young players/prospects.

Bertans clearly has negative value IMO and doesn't really offer what the Lakers need in terms of athleticism, defense, or ball handling.

Fournier has negative value, but at least provides the Lakers with some secondary ball handing and spacing. However, I'm not sure that THT is going to be valued by the Knicks after having just traded for Reddish.

I'm sure the Clippers would make the Bledsoe trade, but adding Bledsoe to a roster that already has Westbrook accomplishes what exactly?

I would not sacrifice Heild's spacing for that package if I were the Kings.

Maybe if the Hawks continue to slide, Nunn fills enough of a backup PG need that it puts Bogs in play?

LeVert could end up as a possibility at the deadline I suppose.

Tim Hardaway Jr. from Mavs? I’d say they are open to trading him.

Combined, it essentially is a negative value 2 yr contract worth 15 million per year + filler. Q.O. next year for Nunn, the following for THT.

The only guys on the roster with a positive trade value contract other than LeBron and Davis would be Monk and Reaves.

They are **** and will look to blame Vogel. There aren't any positive value trades they can make, just take in negative value players.

This was my thought as well. I don't mind moving him if it helps re-sign Brunson/DFS. Might need to add a little more salary to make it work.

Problem is that Lakers value them more than others.. so it's probably not going to work with the offers available here.

Regardless if you feel they are fair

I think Covington would be the best if Portland is willing to trade

No thanks from POR.

RoCo might pull a pick or 2 from some other team.

Bledsoe makes no sense for the Lakers....but I would heavily consider Ibaka and Winslow with a second coming from the Lakers. Ibaka would actually be a perfect stretch five for them for the 16-20 minutes that AD doesn't want to play C.

But don't think any other Clipper fan would agree, I'm higher on THT than most anyone and like his driving ability. Think him and Boston would make a nice bench duo together

I can't see the Rockets taking on that extra year for a guard who shoots 28% from 3.
THT might be young, but prospect might be overstating it considering he's already paid like a vet.
Wood, KPJ & Tate all sign their next deals in 2023, so if the Rockets take on a contract that long, it's gonna have to be for a much better player than THT.

Also Rockets already have Porter, JayGup and Green at the Guard slots. All three are, hands down, better now and better prospects. THT doesn't fill any sort of void for them

Have to believe the Blazers get better offers than THT/Nunn regardless of which direction they intend to go.

Nope. Not for THT and Nunn.

THJ is a key part of this Dallas team. THT is nothing short of terrible and Nunn is nice but moves the needle none.

The advanced numbers love Muscala and he can shoot, so maybe something like this:

Thunder - Horton-Tucker
Lakers - Muscala, 10M player from team X
Team X - Nunn, Deck, 2nd rounder or literally OKC's worst first pick, which is this year's Phoenix 1st and they pick 5, 15, 35 anyways

But no idea who would the 10M guard or wing would be. Maybe Alec Burks or Reggie Jackson or Larry Nance or Josh Richardson?

Deck was waived a couple weeks ago.
