Not the move I expected Utah to make with Jingles, but like it as it gives them youth. Still lacking the perimeter D though.
And dang was I hoping for Sato to get cut

Fine w/ this, not a NAW fan and ideally we resign Ingles super cheap. If he can come back as a 15-18mpg bench player, he fits a retool around Dame.

Taking a flyer on NAW for just a second seems like good business to me. Don't really understand the point of the Juancho part (though maybe there is salary savings I haven't dug into yet).

What am I missing for the Blazers here, other than they clear salary for next year? NAW has no value?

Definitely not! I was expecting a Thad deal or something like that.
Still, we needed to turn Ingles into playable bodies, and our assets were limited, so this is something!

Clearing salary is the main thing I’d think.

I like it for the Jazz. I don't know anything about Hughes but the rest seems pretty meh.

I kinda think Elijah Hughes might be better than NAW? Maybe I'm wrong? Hate to see Joe go, but if we got rotation caliber players it's kind of a no-brainer that reduce costs. Wouldn't be surprised if he is back next year, anyway.

I thought they would go for Gordon.

I really thought a Jingles for RoCo deal was going to come to fruition, Clippers could have used the birds to keep Jingles and use him as our backup PG next year.

I was kinda thinking the Jazz would go for defense here I guess. NAW and JHG are meh type of players for me. Sato to the Spurs is interesting here as he can go 1-3 in backcourt and at SF when neccessary. Blazers going for Jingles is part of their cost cutting campaign to free more cap space.

Seems like NAW would be a Clarkson replacement if they have a second deal - like Clarkson for Kenrich setup m.

I'm pretty meh on this one for Utah. NAW as a fourth guard is something, but doesn't feel like he brings anything new.

Have this as good for everyone. Not a major win for Utah, but tough to achieve that when you don't have much to give.

WTF is Portland doing? Do they need cap space to sign both Beal and Harden?
