Not exactly the defensive center Charlotte needs, but still a position upgrade by default.

Re: [Woj] Wiz trade Harrell to Hornets
That's even less than I thought Trez would get. But not sure how this really helps the defense in Charlotte. Offense will be even more fun though so there is that.
Not sure the point for the Wiz here. I guess a little money?

I don't think Trezz solves really any of Hornets issues but at that price that's a good pickup

Takes them out of the running for Wood.

Not the type of center I would have targeted for Charlotte but they also gave up nothing.

Didn't Charlotte have interest in Trez a while back also? Maybe I'm misremembering. In any case, the value given up is pretty much zero so why not take the upgrade.

Our offense has been really bad with Hayward out, so its a good move to make if the other options are too expensive

Charlotte wanted Trez before, and I think he'll be pretty fun on offense with Ball.

Great value for the Hornets. While it doesn't fix the defense it does provide for a low post scorer which we currently lack and adds some much needed toughness.

I guess hornets can try before they buy in offseason

Hornets fans will love Trez. He plays balls out every night. I'm happy for him. Our stupid FO doesn't care about anything except saving money.

True to the point.
However, the defense will be a revolving door.

We need rebounding and physical toughness so I think the deal helps us

Re: [Woj] Wiz trade Harrell to Hornets
Happy with this.
Harrell is not "The answer" for us, but he's a bandaid that can slow down the gushing wound that is our center rotation this year. Plumlee cannot do a-n-y-t-h-i-n-g aside from pass ok and occasionally rebound. He's a liability on defense and offense. Harrell is a quality offensive player who is still a liability on defense, but probably no more than Plumlee already is. To get him essentially for free is honestly pretty great.
Again, he shouldn't stop us from making a move for a legit starter in the present or future, but I like this stopgap move a ton more than trading every trade asset we have for Jakob Poeltl

Hornets going all in, I guess?
Really though, solid pickup for cheap. Hornets are slowly scaling the walls to become a perennial playoff team, and could soon push for much more

Also, this trade sucks because Ish is doubling up with the Wizards. He isn’t breaking the record with that kinda move.. Washington, be cool and release him

Re: [Woj] Wiz trade Harrell to Hornets
Stupid deal for Washington; Trez has been our best offensive player, our hardest worker, and the one who cares the most about whether we are playing hard (though fighting with teammates is usually considered a bad way to express it). I think he's one of the more underutilized players in the league; with his offensive production, you should build an offense or defense to make it work around him.
