another kinda surprising one, but assuming this is cheap, Suns aren't going to go into the playoffs hoping Payne and Shamet are playing well. They are giving Monty some other options which is smart.

Very surprised because it was first reported that it was just Aaron for 22. Hen, it was Aaron/31 for 22, which made more sense.
He was probably worth that flier. Even though it didn’t work out.

ah forgot the 31 part, but still, that move up is probably worth at least another pick in the late 20's/early 30s

Payne is fine and was getting back to last years numbers before going down. This is more about not needing to rely on Payton and another option if Shamet continues to struggle.

Our owner is one of the cheapest owners in the league. This is a MAJOR win for him. He routinely sells 2nd round picks for cash.
