Grant to Portland: your take?

Blazer-focused: Portland wins. A team focused on the now gets a good forward and doesn't lose anything of substance for 3 years.
51
45%
Motor City Madness: Detroit wins, clearing max capspace and getting a first rounder for someone not in the plans.
6
5%
Grant No Quarter: both teams win. Portland gets a good piece at an affordable price, Detroit opens up some options.
47
42%
Taken for Granted: both teams lose. Grant won't move the Lillard needle, and Detroit could at least have gotten better than a distant pick from one of the league's best teams.

Even if it is unprotected that is a lite deal for what most though Grant was going for.

Looks like they swapped 2nds in this year too.

Always thought the speculated packages were a bit absurd, this is solid value to send for him. Like it for both

LOL what a convoluted bunch of 2nd movement. Feels like someone just wanted to be difficult.

I haven't seen anyone say that anytime recently. Or at all really.

Told you Grant was highly overvalued on this board. That's a pick projected to be in the 20s lol.

Yup. I missed that.

I guess the Grant to move to 4 takes can stop now. Fantasy that was.

The pick is "meh" but Detroit having a lot of cap space is big. They can make a lot of moves now to do whatever they want in the draft.

So it appears they used the TPE. I think this means if he's still there POR takes Mathurin to fill the 2/3 spot. Could also be Sharpe. But to me this makes a trade down less likely unless Portland has some much grander plans than I can come up with.

Where’s all those Pistons fans that were delusional about getting #7 from Portland for the last 2 months?!
