Spurs trade: Murray, McDermott
Spurs get: Lowry, 2023 MIA 1st, 2025 MIA 1st, 2027 MIA 1st
Spurs get picks for Murray, make a relatively salary neutral deal.
Heat trade: Lowry, 2023 MIA 1st, 2025 MIA 1st, 2027 MIA 1st, 2029 MIA 1st
Heat get: Murray, McDermott, 2025 MIA 1st (lotto prot, then unp)
Heat get a young upcoming playmaker.
OKC trades: 2025 MIA 1st (lotto prot, then unp)
OKC gets: 2029 MIA 1st
Thunder push back the pick they are owed to facilitate Miami trading more picks.
Alternate version would include Heat sending out Robinson for Murray instead. OKC can get dropped from this but probably means more swaps since Miami's pick cache is more limited then.

Re: MIA/SAS/OKC
I would send Collins instead of McDermott for big man depth. Seem redundant having mcbucket and robinson.
Spurs also asking for 4 1sts or 3 1sts/2 swaps so this is a tad short?

Re: MIA/SAS/OKC
Man, I like Murray but seeing all that written out it's a lot. I'd hesitate to do it from the MIA side.
That being said I think this construction has legs.

I see the age appeal for Miami I guess but I dont think this is the right trade for them. I think they'd likely be better off holding on to their picks or maybe trying to turn Duncan Robinson + picks into OG. When you're trying to win a title giving up all your picks for a not so major upgrade doesn't make sense
Lowry doesn't make sense for the Spurs in this scenario.
I'd probably try to reroute him someone else for a pick or so
Maybe Lowry to Wolves for Dlo + incentive and Dlo to Knicks for whatever they want + incentive

Why would raptors entertain that idea?

Not all trades are 2 teams.

Unless we are talking about Robinson + 3 picks/2 swaps, i dont think its enough value to acquire OG even with a 3rd team involved. Robinson is pretty significant negative value himself.

I mean this was in reply to the premise of them giving up 3 picks. We can argue pick swaps but we're not really that far off in general ideas. The trick becomes seeing if theres a better fit that could be had with the salary matching for the Raptors.
I don't agree that Robinson is a significant negative though. He's paid just about right for what he is through his prime. That has value to a contender

Miami was a contender and he barely played at all this playoffs. You think its right to pay him 18M to sit on the bench?
