Interesting seeing players being traded for so many seconds . Like it for Bucks.

Re: [Shams]: Crowder to the Bucks
Would be very curious to see what some of these second rounds are going to look like with a bunch of picks in the hands of a few teams. Really feels like the trade market is out of control right now.

5 seconds?
That's a ton, I mean a quality first is probably better but this certainly gives the Nets some flexibility. Well unless some are top 55 protected.

Five seconds sounds so exciting.
This makes sense for both sides. Could use a third team so lessen Brooklyn’s tax, but Brooklyn doesn’t seem close to finished.

Are Nets taking on bad contracts?

On the one hand we can't exactly say he was traded for Kevin Durant, though him not being moved earlier so they could save his salary matching for something major was something consistently pointed out to the guy driving that bus.
On the other hand, we can say he was traded for 5 2nds.

I'm sure they no longer have the capital now without looking at their future available 2nd's, but I'd love to see the four 2nd's for Eric Gordon trade happen too. Just to say Eric Gordon and Jae Crowder got traded for 9 picks.

Re: [Shams]: Crowder to the Bucks
okay so Crowder only worth 3. 2 going to the Pacers for eating salary.
Still I have that meaningfully more than buy out.

Saddiq Bey (#19 pick) was acquired by Detroit for Luke Kennard and 4 2nds a few years ago.
Anyways this is great for Milwaukee and for Crowder.

Shams piecemeal reporting ruined my title opportunity but I'm doing it anyway as a revision. Sorry it obscures the actual deal.

Re: [Shams]: Crowder to the Bucks
That's a lot of 2nd round picks to give up for someone who hasn't played all season long. Not to say Crowder wouldn't a solid addition to the Bucks roster, but I felt like they could've given up less 2nd round picks to do the deal.

That was such a weird trade with Kennard and those seconds coming to LA with Shamet on the way out

Goga is really the waive? Over James Johnson.. I know Goga is out of the rotation, but I liked keeping him just in case..

Yes, I was furious, we overpaid by a lot. Kennard does have a role in the league. His value even as a RFA should've been close to the #19 (25-30 probably)
