*Disclaimer: I'm really just assuming HOU has cap since they really don't have vets and didn't check spotrac. If the #'s don't work then other moves need to be made.

If the Celtics fall short this yr again

Celtics:
White
Smart
DeRozan
Tatum
Williams

SF DeMar DeRozan

Celtics get a scorer who's winding down his career in terms of Prime yrs but still a very capable scorer. Celts have defenders to make up for DeRozan on that end.

Celtics also get #4 to restock and draft a potential new building block in Miller or others.

Rockets:
Green
Brown
Martin Jr
Smith Jr
Sengun

GF Jaylen Brown

Brown who has expressed some not glowing statements about BOS is reunited with Udoka to help salvage the ship and bring HOU back into relevancy by leading the young guys. He's versed w/ Ime's system and could help them out immediately.

Bulls:
White
LaVine
KPJ
Williams
Vucevic

GF Kevin Porter Jr

Bulls get a good scorer but from reports he's also been a malcontent. Bulls take a flyer and also gain #20 in the Draft to help alleviate the damage from the Vuc to ORL trade.

Bad business for a rebuilding team to trade #4 pick to an UFA on the last year of his deal.

#20 is not enough for the Bulls to swap their steady leader all star for a malcontent, they don't need to take that kind of chance. NOT when a top 4 pick and top 10 player are on the move. KPJ is considered a PG so are you putting Lavine or White (if resigned) at the SF because neither is. It also leaves Patrick Williams at the PF and how much are you paying Vucevic to resign? Get you pencil out, erase the malcontent Porter and fill in Tari Eason and Malcolm Brogdan's names on a flight to CHI and this looks doable.

I'd be shocked if Jaylen doesn't sign a supermax extension. Not saying he'd see the end of it without demanding a trade, but he'd be a fool not to just sign it now. It eliminates the possibility of BOS trading him to a spot he's not comfortable or doesn't want to be. He can demand the trade next year, except with more money in hand than he'll be able to make without signing now.

Also a lineup with White/Smart/DeRozen/RWilliams flanking Tatum might be the worst floor spacing I could imagine it's possible to put together out of good players lol
