What makes sense for Herro?
If Miami gets Beal and look for another team to take Herro, I wonder who would be interested?
Heat likely want a PG or a PF, cost controlled players, or future picks
Charlotte- to fit between Ball and Brandon Miller? - Maybe Hayward, Martin and a pick for Herro/Duncan?
Orlando- Needs a scoring guard - Herro for 11, Anthony, Bol/Okeke?
Minnesota- Can he play w Edwards?
Raptors? - Can't see them wanting him - Herro and a pick for OG and Thad?
Pistons - In between Jaden/Cade - Herro for Bojan, Stewart and a pick?
Grizzlies? - when Ja comes back you have Ja/Herro/Bane
Would love to see some potential deals

Re: What makes sense for Herro?
I like Herro but I would want him as that combo guard 6th man of the year type.
On a team like Detroit I couldn't see him being cool with that though.

Re: What makes sense for Herro?
In my mind, a great application of him would be to GS for Poole and their pick. Similar player, but fixes chemistry issues up there. Poole was coveted until he got paid, so if that was part of the return, I think WAS would prefer to see if they can develop Poole/rehab his value and get the extra pick to boot.
How if you just want to add to YOUR team, the same deal should be on the table and Poole does play some point

Depends who needs a bench shooter with no D who has an inflated opinion of themselves.

Re: What makes sense for Herro?
I think Herro will have some suiters. I think mostly EC and a non Lottery pick is likely his market.
Charlotte already has they 25m 6th man in Rozier. Maybe they would offer some kind of asset to make that swap but I just don't see the need there for them to really lay out much.
If Orlando is offer 11 I would want some value back especially with them eating a lot of his salary saving Miami money or giving them a tpe to work with.
Minny is going to be real expensive after next year. I don't think they can handle Herro's money on the books there since they really need a true PG more than Herro and would have to trade Conley just to make the money work.
Toronto- They could for sure use him but just not sure what they are willing to pay versus just bringing GTJ back for free.
Det- Just not sure where he plays. Cade at PG and Ivey at SG. Seems like they need a 3 or 4 before spending assets on a backup 6th man at guard.
Mem- Herro just makes too much money for the role we would offer him and not enough PG skills to really cover for Ja when he is out since we are likely going to have to move Tyus to afford him. I wouldn't mind him since we need a 6th man, put I just don't see us allocation that much salary and assets to get him. If we were to make an offer then Tyus/Clarke/25 would be close to our offer I think.

I think this would be the best offer honestly. A place he is likely to start and get a lot of shots and PT especially with all the rest/injury LAL stars will be getting.

This dude is a laugh. 99% Magic fans would take that deal. We’ve got Cap space and Herro would be about as good of player we could get for a few years.
A scoring guard.. never heard of one.

Re: What makes sense for Herro?
Charlotte as a suitor is interesting.
I think the name that would fill a need and excite these boards is PJ Washington.
A Washington and Rozier package for Herro and filler is considerable.
I like Indiana as suitor if Mia is committed to going all in this upcoming season.
The Turner/Hield/McConnell package for Herro, whichever between Dipo/Duncan that’s not traded for Beal, and filler would check the size, rim protection, elite shooting, and competent ball handling boxes in one swoop.

Sounds great for Miami but why would Indy do anything like this? There already have a guard they like to develop at sg.

They might have zero interest in Herro for all I know.
Conversely they might like him a lot.
What seems legit is that they are willing to move both Turner and Hield for the right price and are rumored to be coveting wing players.

Re: What makes sense for Herro?
Orlando would prob be the best bet as their have an overload of young players/picks
Herro for 11, Anthony, 1 of Okeke-Bol
Charlotte would be interesting, but I think it may be Hayward instead of Rozier. Big expiring for the Heat and would come back for less, plus could get a late 1/ early 2nd and the other Martin Brother
Herro for 27, Hayward, Martin
Memphis is actually an interesting fit
Herro for Jones, Clarke, 25

They are after a SF not a expensive 6th man combo guard. It doesn't take much logic to look at their roster and see that Herro would be low priority add for them.

Re: What makes sense for Herro?
If the Heat trade Herro, they want salary relief to stay out of the 2nd tax apron, and to resign either or both Vincent and Struss.
Maybe Herro to a team with cap space for a young player and a draft pick.
Orlando comes to mind for a pick this yr and a young player.

Not a Herro fan, I take take it.
Herro would start for Ind as was the case all of last season for Mia.
He’s better than Durte now and has a higher ceiling than him as well, is why they would conceivably have interest.

Re: What makes sense for Herro?
I think along the lines of Jonathan Issac+ 11th pick in the draft would very likely be the best offer the Heat can realistically expect.
Far as a bigger trade, then Heat then package Jonathan Issac Isaac, the 11th pick in the draft, along with their 2029 1st round pick to the Pacers in exchange for Myles Turner. This way, they would be able to have a Center can space the floor next to Bam Adebayo. They would also still have the 18th pick and 2027 1st round pick, along with salary to then trade for Bradley Beal.

Mathurin. You clearly don't follow Indy if you think I was alluding to Duarte?
