That's not bad. Now they have a bunch of assets to throw around to make edge moves.

Not backseat modding, but I think this should be moved to the General Discussion thread... But yeah, there has to be something in analytics that suggests multiple seconds are more valuable than a late 1st given recent draft pick trade trends.

If they missed out on a really good pkayer this will look stupid in hindsight. But most likely they hit on at least 1 or 2 of these picks with some decent 9th-12th man types and the payroll math of so many 2nd rounders helps them keep a playoff rotation guy at some point in the next few years under the new CBA tax restrictions. So probably worth it, unless they lost a core piece type of player

pretty good. Mitch Kupchak lit the 13th pick on fire last year for this return (god I hope Nick Smith Jr is good)

He knows the new CBA, second rounders will have more value.

Stevens apparently went to the Sam Presti / Hinkie asset shuffling school of GMing and not the Danny Ainge massive ripoff school.

I doubt even brad has all the details on the future seconds for now .
