I don't know if he's available seems like a great glue guy boston could use bench depth
Boston in: eason
Houston in: 2 1st rd pics 24&26 1st rd pics
I assume Houston is still acquiring top end talent and eason is bench behind smith jr 1st should be used in bigger trade for starter
*update 1/24*
Springer and all the pics u need
4
Eason
Boston upgrades bench
Houston moved a non core bench piece 4 pics to use in bigger trade(fox?)

Not sure how you justify the price of 3 FRP for Tari Eason. That's a hell of a price to pay for "bench depth."
Edit: Maybe you are saying 2 FRP total, not 2 FRP in 2024 (which Boston doesn't have anyway). That's still too much.

Why would HOU rather have 3 picks 25-30 instead of Eason.

Better to keep the guy they like, took the risk in drafting rather than 3 picks close to SRP.

if Eason is available, Pacers should bid.

Considering the projected level of Boston's first round picks, it'd probably take 3? If that could even net Eason? And I don't think Eason is a "Blue Chip Prospect", but he's probably a borderline lotto pick.

For Indy, I'd probably give up the 2 2024 1st round picks. I wouldn't think terribly hard about it.

He's a 22 year old guy drafted 17th and playing like a roleplayer. He's indistinguishable right now from the likes of Oshae Brissett.

I'd also give up firsts for Eason (or Whitmore). Nwora could be included to match salaries and create the roster spot. he has a team option for next season so the Rockets wouldn't be stuck with him long term if he didn't help them.

Houston is not trading Eason for picks (obviously unless its something crazy like premium picks). That would be moving backwards when they're trying to move forward

What on earth

Tari Eason is Houston's first big off the bench, playing 22 minutes per game (6th most on the team) and averaging 10/7. He's in his second year and already a quality roleplayer, good defender, good rebounder. He's 22 and in his 2nd NBA season. He's got lots of room to grow.

Oshae Brissett is 11th on the Celtics in minutes; he's a garbage time & injuries player, playing 11 minutes per game and averaging 3/3. He's 25, and is an NBA journeyman who will bounce around the league on vet minimum contracts for the rest of his career.

If those two players are "indistinguishable" I would suggest you work very hard on improve your distinction skills.

22 minutes a game is roleplayer minutes. Oshae Brissett in his age 22 season was averaging 24 mins a night and averaging more than Eason does now. I have no idea why people think Tari Eason is some special prospect. He's not impressing with his numbers and he doesn't look special by the eye test either. Unless he shows something else Eason is just another 6'7-6'8 big with a shaky jumper and finishing abilities who can eat up 10-20 minutes off the bench.

Teams want Eason.

OB is a ham and egger.

They are in the same tier. Barely playable young and with DFS ceiling.
I haven't heard of any trade rumors involving Tari Eason because rumors don't get started for limited roleplayers.

I like it for Boston because Eason is good and also very cheap.

I don't see why Houston would do this. It might make sense if Houston was concerned about a salary cap crunch down the road after paying Eason his second contract, but their long term cap situation doesn't seem like much of a problem.

Feel free to list all the things Tari Eason is good at. Keep them basketball-related if you can.

BOS can keep their ham and egger.

HOU can keep Eason.

You should be happy about that.

Size, defense, rebounding and a respectable jumper.

2.2 DBPM, and 1.8 BPM. 23.8 DRB%, 3.2 STL % and 3.7 BLK%.

Nearly all his number are up in his 2nd year from an already good rookie year which shows growth.

Comparing him to Oshae brissett is laughable.

idk why I'm engaging with someone being intentionally obtuse but among forwards he is 94th percentile in block rate, 99th in steal rate, 99th in offensive rebound rate, 96th in dreb rate. Shoots a respectable percentage from three and juices transition offense. +9.1 on/off on a winning team as a second-year player. If you're serious about oshae brissett being the same thing I suggest you watch some tari eason

Why dont you come back with an actual defense?

Maybe provide some stats.

Right now you're just blowing hot air
